A nice grind game, poorly optimized but that's alright, good for killing time.

Crashes way too often, flagged with "Fatal error!" window before closing, even when trying to do something as basic as saving.

If you're into hitting things with increasingly large hammers, saws and occasionally explosives, then this game does exactly what it promises. It's not big and it's not complex, but it does what it sets out to do pretty well. (And occasionally your door flies into the sky, which is an interesting distraction.) The van is incredibly annoying, to the extent that driving it was the last achievement I picked up, but the repetitive hitting things with hammers was right up my alley.

People have been asking for controller support for years and still nothing. Aside from that it's just not very good. Maybe the sequel is better but after playing this I don't really want to try it.

I prefer the simplicity of this version compared to the second one. Good Simulated Fun! Recommendations YouTube TikTok

It is very repetitive but there is a sense of growth upgrading the the shanty town and your equipment. There isn't a story or any kind of purpose other than make money and upgrade. So i can see how it can get boring fast. I'm more into this game for the achievements.
