Probably the best looking game I've ever played with a banging soundtrack on top. The rpg gameplay's tough but I liked that, though the enemies in the last area got a little annoying for my taste, but man I really didn't care that much cuz this game's a treat to look at and to listen to!

This one is bit more of a came than a recreational program with light RPG elements. Not gonna lie, gameplay wise i enjoyed the first one more. The somewhat jakny 3D with the ability to jump really grinded my gears at certain areas. Also, the forced 2D side scroller platformer and the dungeon crawler sections drove me mad. But just like Hylics 1, this game is mesmerising. The music, the visuals, the almost non existing story ( thou this one had a lot more not randomly generated dialogue). Both of these games are a must have experience, but it's not for everybody ( i know it's an oxymoron, but i can't describe it any differently )

it takes everything that is good about hylics 1 and throws it in the trash.

I had a lot of fun with the game! The platforming is frustrating, but the battles and the like were super fun!

This game is genuinely one of the best sequals I have ever played. This game is just great in every way. If you want a good JRPG play this! I insist! In comparison to the first game it feels more complete. The game fits a more broad audience and if you were not a fan of the first game then get this. There is fun combat, cool art style and characters, and a fun world. There is also parkour (which is a little annoying) which the first game did not have. This game also has a more coherent story compared to the first. TLDR: This game is a very well designed sequal.

Minha única reclamação é que o jogo não dá nenhum senso de profundidade pra ter elementos de plataforma. Tirando isso, absolute cinema.
Vou passar um tempo com as animações dos inimigos e dos gestos na cabeça. Adorei a experiência.

It's a wonderful game with beautiful surreal textures and I really enjoyed the clay animation and I loved how the antagonist just came back it really makes the story more lovable. I seriously would recommend this game if you love surreal games plus its not even that expensive. Thank you Mason Lindroth.

If you liked the first game, or even the Earthbound and similar series, you would probably like this game too. The MUSIC and ART is really good, it's the strongest part of the game. Yeah, it doesn't play all the same as the first, but I don't think that makes it bad.
and it's also nice to play while you're sitting in the dark on your bed with headphones on and wanting to play something before you sleep.
This one is much less confusing in terms of where to go compared to the first one, and the combat is a bit more challenging than the first (which I actually prefer, though i think you can change the difficulty). And while a controller does make the few platforming parts MUCH much easier—cuz, on the keyboard, the jump doesn't work sometimes and you can't really do diagonal jumps well either—you can still play it fine without one (which makes it nice for me when I wanna play and slack off while I'm at work). And the little arcade modes COULD be seen as annoying, but I have no problem changing the difficulty just so I can get past it quicker.
Seriously tho, it feels like I'm playing a work of art more than a game. The visuals and music are banger. It looks really amazing (as practically every other review mentions) but it really is difficult to explain it in words, and i would just recommend trying it out and experiencing it for yourself.
And if you do like it, i also recommend checking out the hylics albums, "Moonage Lobotomy - A Hylics 2 Musical Expansion" and "Absent Moon, A Hylics Song Cycle". Or actually, even if you don't somehow at least find the game interesting, i STILL recommend checking out those two albums.
