I Reluctantly recommend this game, it has poor english translation on PC for example: Where the sound coming? but on console it's properly translated: Where The sound is coming from? Check The Chruch? you mean Check The Church? Find Out What Happen? you mean Find Out What Happened? Oh and besides minor typo errors or just poorly put together english objective statements the sound of the alarm right when you load into the game among other sounds are so annoying you might as well just mute the game if you want a sense of peace while piecing together what's going on in the game, getting the keys you need to shut the alarm off, dying on the Hopscotch game even if you walk on it correctly and other such things like that. i'm only recommending this game because for the most part it's playable and not as broken as any other game that could've been improperly coded and forgotten about would be, i've personally gotten all 12 Collectibles and the ending without too much trouble. if i scored this game i give it a 5 out of 10 i deduct 5 points because the sounds are god awful, the poor english and lack of spellcheck or small constructive sentences on the objectives, glitched out progress reset and achievement progression, collectibles don't reset basically, and everything else as far as the demons in the game i never cared for, and the ending doesn't make sense of course... ah well.

OK: This game has an excellent name and a strong premise (a child wakes up to find his neighborhood inexplicably devoid of people and himself its sole occupant). I respect someone just putting collectibles like an illustration of Yao Ming or a batik pattern for no reasons other than "I like Yao Ming" or "my ex made this batik for me and I wanted to share this memory," which are happily shared with the player in the user interface. There's real "I don't care what tools or resources I have, I'm making a game, dammit" energy here, and I respect it. But my brother in Christ: you have to give your player some sort of handhold in how to solve your puzzles or what to do or where to go next or how to identify that a puzzle is even present, and not strand them in a massive, ultra-zoomed-in maze with no direction as to how to proceed. When I picked this up, I wandered the town for an hour, made no progress except in collectibles, and turned it off. A couple years later, I gave the game another try; I wandered for another hour in an entirely different direction (I could tell because I picked up new collectibles), again made no progress, then checked an LP video and thought, "oh, OK, that's why I'm not making progress, nothing makes sense." Still better than The Suicide of Rachel Foster.
