Maneuver Warfare has a control problem! I can't select a unit! The control bar goes down and I can't raise it again! I've written to Maneuver Warfare support! I don't recommend it at the moment! Support also got in touch! They're working on my problem! Personally, I find MW very interesting! It's just a shame that there's no map maker! And you can only play it from the German side!

i started game took more then an hour to load came back three hours later still didnt load but the gameplay clips look fun

The topic and some of the mechanics of this war game are enough to offset missing features and visual appeal. Really hoping that this war game continues to be developed.

I like whats here, I think this is a good game. However Super low fps even on a good rig 9700k, 2080 16gb of ram. I think if the dev can fix the fps issues this would be a great game. Otherwise it may not be worth it. at points I am getting 8-15fps randomly.

Having played hundreds of computer wargames over the last decades, I have to say that I was quite surprised how this game instantly feels unique. I have just a few games but I really look forward to dig in, exploring alternative strategies. It’s definitively not for those who are looking for blockbusters FX or who enjoy senselessly rushing around fancy units. The interface may look a bit rough but the gameplay is smooth. I really appreciate the levels of details, the pace of this game. This is full of possibilities and ideas , nice!!

bought the game based because of the positive reviews. while i was aware that the graphic reminds of the 1980s and is dowd. the UI is not intuitive and reacts extremely sluggish. No tutorial. Horrible coloring and loveless ugly icons.

Unique style, updates can take a while but dev is available to help. Operating an infantry battalion(with atts&detts) as a part of a larger operation, you're given arcs (boundaries) where you must either advance through phase lines or defend. Determining LoS can be tricky until you learn terrain. Units are persistent and receive experience/awards as they fight. Tip: If you want to start barbarossa but would like to reconfigure your force beforehand you can start at Poland and skip missions, there doesn't appear to be any penalty.

Unorthodox wargame which is in continuous development, being improved all the time. The game lets you command units in real time, with an emphasis on tactical warfare, slightly like the older game Command Ops. The controls and mechanics are less complex however, which benefits gameplay a whole lot. Maneuver Warfare will give the player a unique wargaming experience and is heartily recommended.

With each update this game keeps getting better. A great military sim, fun, tough and engaging. Has some similarities with Command Ops, which is a good thing :).

Update: the update has been released and the game runs great has more content and improved the ingame enclyopedia - this game has a charm and the developer is active in many ways - the Ai is hard core but tactically hard core - anti tank guns are road security, climbing through forest suck, and sometimes order take awhile to get up stream, best laid plans truly are worthles. Active developer active game - buy this game you will have fun and it gets in your head lol The game is fun to play reminds me of playing table top back in the day but without knocking over the board accidentally on purpose. The mechanics are splendid, and you get enough stats to know if you just throw you men into a meat grinder. You can customize the names of your commanders and they survive units get buffed, there is a hq attachment buff as well. Movement is good, fog of war is good. There is an editor so you can create encounters and limit points to spend to as low as 500, a company of tigers 176 points so it can get down to low personnel counts for some units and you know it commander. Air and arty strikes work - you see a flying octogon but it works the whole thing works. You have Poles, French, Soviets, British as opp force. There is an encyclopedia big data base so you play with it but you wont know what the ai has spent, The only issue is you can only play as the Germans but that said it is fun and you I did create a scenario where 24 Char b1s, 4 companies adhoc vs 5 German conscripts companies of 148 men each, no arty no armor- so you can play just cant play the other sides yet- there is an announcement soon about an update..
