This is a steam deck review. I know this is not steam deck verified yet, but I have their Wartile title, and it runs fine, so I assumed this would also with the similar look and feel. Unfortunately it doesnt. I want to like this game, and the initial tutorial type mission was somewhat fun, but unfortunately, once you get past that first "Betrayal" mission set, the game crashes with a unity error related to the graphics processing. I saw the discussion item already existing for that error on the community hub, and added to it. If the devs address this error I will continue playing the game and update the review.

Game is impossibly hard. With no progression if you die. It has potential but its too bogged down in being extremely difficult.

I liked the first game (Wartile). This game seems a bit unfinished, for example no voice for the storytelling like in the previous game. The Map could be bigger. I also dont like the Menu and bars and i dont understand how to sell items to lvl up the characters. The game just dont feels as good as Wartile. The missing voice acting is a big Minus for me. I had no bugs or problems playing the game. It just froze once in the Main Menu. Im still recommending it, but it needs some more work. Could be a great game

Promising fantasy tile game that I enjoyed recording episodes of for my Youtube channel, looking forward to the different enemy models you encounter and seeing where the developers take the game! :)

I really like the concept and the implementation. Maybe a few tweaks with the UI, and the loading screen, but these are such minor changes that I won't really care in the end. I really hope this somehow makes it to the Switch 2, but any handheld will benefit from this addition to its list of available titles. I imagine making it controller compatible in general will greatly improve the UI. Even better that this game, from what little I have dabbled in, is not as complex with abilities/skills as Wrath of the Righteous. It seems like it could be executed on handheld with ease, and according to one negative review, their previous Wartile title apparently works quite well with the Steam Deck. Anywhoozle. Love, light, and pleasant nights.

Can see the potential here. The similar game like this in the past was Warbands: Bushido. Basically, this game is a miniature TBT/ RTS with DnD feature. Pretty hard, but once you grasp the idea of playing this then it starts to feel fun. Moving and positioning your figurines are important. Visual of the items could be more varied and engaging.
