this game is cute, but it is also very bad

I'm aware the game's aimed at kids, but it's not worth $2.50. Awkward controls and repetitive gameplay. There are dozens of free games out there that are better than this

For the default price of $25, you get: No sound effects, only 2 repetitive music tracks A blistering 10-15 minutes of gameplay A wonky jump where you jump super high, but fall super fast, resulting in a small actual jump distance Get off of this Store page if there isn't a massive, massive sale. Even then, there are better free and paid games out there.

Very cute little fox adventure. The game is reminiscent of games from consoles and phones from the early 2000s. Children will like it very much.

Review EN/RUS [EN] Quite interesting and lovely 2D platformer. In game we play as little fox trying to find its new home, what we can see in game title. Have played almost a hour, i detected some details, pluses and minuses which about i want to tell. Pluses: + Game locations is very colorful, interesting and well made + Pleasant and non annoying soundtrack ( very similar to Stardew walley soundtracks, as i think) + High variety of mobs and, as i said above, locations + Simple controls Minuses: - Bad transition between locations. - No sound effects of character and its enviroment Inspite all i said above, game is worth its price. If you are looking for something to spent your time, then "In a search of a new home" is your choice [RU] Довольно интересный и в некоторой мере красивый 2D платформер. В игре рассказывается о приключениях маленького лисёнка и поиске его нового дома, о чем и говорит нам название игры. Наиграв полчаса, успел заметить несколько деталей, плюсов и минусов, выделю основные ниже Плюсы: + Локации яркие, интересные и довольно хорошо проработаны + Приятный и не раздражающий саундтрек (мне лично напомнили саунды из Stardew Walley, кто играл - тот поймет) + Есть разнообразие врагов и уже упомянутых до этого локаций + Простое и незамысловатое управление (хотя прыжок можно было сделать и на +w также, как и на пробел) Минусы: - Не видно переходов между уровнями, не сразу поймешь, на какой стадии ты находишься и вообще происходит ли какой-то прогресс - Забагованные прыжки - Нет звуковых эффектов персонажа и его окружения Несмотря на все вышеперечисленное, игра вышла достойной для цены в 50р (по моему мнению), яркой и завлекающей. Если вы ищете что-то из того, где спокойно можно убить время, то In search of a new home - ваш выбор.

It’s short, simple side-scrolling Arcade. There really is not much to this game. It is targeted at a younger audience. The visuals are simple, colorful and cartoonish. The music is good, but there is no sound effect. If you are looking for a game for the kids this could be some fun.

I don't understand how this game has so many good reviews. -The jump is too quick and uncontrollable. -The fox shoots a blue ball that makes no sense. -Some enemies are damaged by the shot, others are only damaged by jumping, which makes the game very inconsistent. -Inconsistent enemy hitboxes. -The levels are all basically the same, just go through the screen and try to not die. Even for younger players it's awful because they can't control the jumping correctly and the enemies make no sense.
