been a player since 2012. straight from the disc version. and on the same laptop the entire time as well. that laptop crashed a few months ago. i found the perfect gaming laptop. but now i cant use the disc version. steam to the rescue. or so i thought? i had read that all id need to do is take a couple steps in the steam settings and would be able to log in to arenanet and continue where i left off. no such luck. 14 years of this game. fully invested. seemingly trapped in a website/disc. im now starting from scratch. if i didnt love this game as much as i do i wouldnt have purchased the bundle. but the least of it i can still play. im not a fan of what it cost to play this game being that, ( i had already purchased this game and its expansions for 1.) its super bothersome still that i lost all of that time and effort. steam needs to figure that one out. still a great game. definitely recommend
