Reflections of Life: Utopia is a fun and interesting HO Adventure game. While the action is intense and fast, the story behind it is pretty intriguing. A brother wishing to free his sister from physical impairment (
Ada's feet paralized due to a car accident
), unsuspectingly tries to entrap her in an inanimate object. At least, that object is freer than a fragile human body. Interesting questions. Other elements within the story include: worlds within worlds, wishing things were differently, soul split in two (linked by a body), ancient powerful dolls, real people stuck in alter-realities.
PROS:
- Game runs smoothly;
- Interesting story;
- Graphics are amazing;
- Music fits the scene and the action;
- Journal entries and Fast-travelling maps;
- Bonus Chapter + a Hidden Puzzle bonus;
- Diverse mini and HO games.
CONS:
- Too many collectibles;
- In-game purchases that don't look good;
- No Steam achievements;
- No trading cards.
In conclusion, I think that Reflections of Life: Utopia is a good game to play.

4/5 stars - I don't know what it is about this game that was so pleasant -- It's not normally the kind of game I play. But something about the art piqued my attention so I gave it a try. It was a relaxing was to spend an afternoon. I beat the game in five hours playing all the puzzles on hard. I don't know if $12 was worth five hours of gameplay to be honest and that's the primary reason for not giving it five stars. Price point value is definitely a deterrent for continuing to buy their games.
