Fun, quick and chill. Excellent if you like atmospheric indie platformers.

Let's start by saying not all of us are good at platformers. I'm one of those people, okay? I have played Little Big Planet and that's pretty much it. I wanted to improve my skills and picked up Sheepo for 3 euros. Until 50% through I felt I was progressing and having a pretty good time. A bit before Slime Queen it started to feel like I was hitting a wall. The game felt too difficult and I didn't have fun anymore. I beat the Slime Queen eventually, but I'm unsure if I'll be able to finish. I am leaving a positive review, because it's not the game's fault that I lack skill and also because we had some good times.

This is a great game for achievement hunters IMO. It has a great story to experience.

Game was made basically by a one guy, with the exception of music and accessibility, that he probably programmed in to the game, that said, the game is VERY good, if you like platforming with smooth controls and criative boss fights and all of this with NO BUGS at all give it a try

Very pleasant, standard Metroidvania. Only took about 3 1/2 hours to complete 105%. It doesn't do anything special, it just does everything right. Platforming is good, art style is great, mechanics are fun, no fluff wasting your time, and nothing really to add. I enjoyed it and I think you will to.

Short and sweet. I beat it in just under 3 hours but there are achievements for beating it even faster. A very interesting take on the formula by essentially having no combat but still having enemies and boss encounters. The music is on point as it is with all of the Kyle Thompson games. For Steam deck players, it does run perfectly fine on the deck but (at least with the LCD model) a lot of the text is too small to make out easily. I primarily played it while docked.

Short and nice metroidvania with fluid movement and cool design (you shapeshift into creatures to gain their abilities for a short time). My only complaint is the fact you can only save the game at specific locations and there's no autosave, so I lost a decent chunk of progress a bunch of times.

It all started with the game Islets, which I got for free on the Epic Store, which I was absolutely delighted with - I liked everything about it, beautiful graphics, great music, an incredibly fun metroidvania with a great setting, and all this magic is created by Kyle Thompson! Then I bought Crypt Custodian on Steam, because I wanted to continue the wonderful metroidvania series, and I got an even better sequel to Islets - Crypt Custodian had all the same cool elements of the game, which Kyle Thompson improved to a shine! And in the end, I decided that I had to buy and try the first game by Kyle Thompson, the game with which it all started, the game SHEEPO. I did not have high expectations from the game, since I understood that this was the first project, and it would most likely be many times worse than the other two polished projects, which I had already managed to complete 100%. And most likely it will not be a delight, but I thought about at least not being disappointed ... Oh, how wrong I was! SHEEPO may not be perfect, but it is great, and is every bit as good as any other Kyle Thompson game, and I had a ton of fun playing it 100%!!! It has everything I loved about the other games, great atmosphere, cool gameplay and setting, secrets, great level map, cool metroidvania, music, fun trophies... SHEEPO is a great little diamond in the crown of Kyle Thompson games! I recommend it to all fans of metroidvania and the author of the games, Kyle Thompson! ============================================================================= Все началось с игры Islets, которая досталась бесплатно по акции в Epic Store, от которой я был в диком восторге - мне в ней понравилось все, красивая графика, отличная музыка, невероятно веселая метроидвания с отличным сеттингом, и все это чудо творит Kyle Thompson ! Потом я купил Crypt Custodian уже в Steam, потому что и дальше хотел продолжения замечательной серии метроидвании, и я получил еще более лучшее продолжение игры Islets - в Crypt Custodian были все те же классные элементы игры, которые Kyle Thompson улучшил до блеска! И в конце концов решил, что надо купить и попробовать первую игру Kyle Thompson, ту игру, с которой все началось, с игры SHEEPO. Я не строил больших ожиданий от игры, так как понимал, что это первый проект, и она скорее всего будет в разы хуже двух других отполированных проектов, которые я уже успел пройти на 100%. И скорее всего это будет не восторг, но думал о том, чтобы хоть не разочароваться... О как же ошибался! SHEEPO может не идеальная, но она великолепна, и ни чуть не уступает другим играм от Kyle Thompson, и я получил тонну удовольствия от прохождения игры на 100%!!! В ней есть все то, за что я полюбил другие игры, отличная атмосфера, прикольный gameplay и сеттинг, секреты, отличная карта уровней, классная метроидвания, музыка, забавные трофеи... SHEEPO замечательный маленький бриллиант, в короне игр Kyle Thompson! Рекомендую всем любителям метроидвании и автора игр Kyle Thompson!
