Dont waste your money. Its a coop game that you can't play coop. Friend Pass DOES NOT WORK. Both people need to buy the game, which is way too much. Its too bad... Little Hope was fun and I loved playing that with my friend's. Was looking to do that again. Save your money.

Overall Gameplay: 9/10 StoryLine was great! Hope for part 2 where the monster came back alive and destroy the world! I was able to engage with my viewers as we played along and got the choose what action to take.

Absolutely amazing game and I've only completed my first playthrough. The characters are really well-written, neither paragons nor saints, and have such great interactions with each other. There's so much suspense built up with the amazing sound effects that leave me in a thrilling sense of anxiety, wondering whatever may happen next. There's also so many hints and connections to past and future games spread throughout, I can't wait to do a new playthrough to find what I missed!

This game was quite fun, the story wraps up neatly, and the difficulty is just right! I found this game quite enjoyable, and am waiting to buy the others from this anthology, when they're on sale. If you want this game, I'd recommend getting it on sale. :)

I have two major complaints about this game. First I literally couldn't shoot my gun or attack until I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I tried every key bind and reset to defaults but I wouldn't work and it messed up my run. I didn't want to replay the entire game from the first chapter to fix my run so I'm suffering later in the game because people died who I could have saved. My second complaint is the movement feels jerky when you are moving outside of cut scenes. The story has been fun so far and I'll finish it with my partner. I think the narrative has a lot of complexity and I'm interested in trying the other Dark Pictures games. But my serious glitch ruining the beginning of the game has made me want to warn any customers who are having the same issue. I hope the developers see this and fix it so no one else has their game save messed with from a problem outside of their control.

House of Ashes, the third installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology, delivers a gripping horror experience with an impressive and unique storyline. While it may not be the absolute best in the series, it still stands out with its intense atmosphere, strong character dynamics, and well-paced suspense. The game takes players deep into an ancient Sumerian temple buried beneath the deserts of Iraq, where U.S. military forces and Iraqi soldiers find themselves trapped together. What starts as a military operation quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival against terrifying, otherworldly creatures lurking in the shadows. This blend of war, mythology, and horror makes House of Ashes a standout entry in the anthology, offering a fresh take on horror storytelling. One of the strongest aspects of the game is Ashley Tisdale’s portrayal of Rachel. Having her in the cast adds a recognizable face to the experience, and she delivers a solid performance, bringing depth to a character caught in both personal and life-threatening conflicts. The game’s narrative does a great job of making players question their choices, forcing them to navigate alliances, betrayals, and moral dilemmas while uncovering the temple’s eerie secrets. However, one small drawback is the linguistic inaccuracy in the portrayal of the Iraqi soldiers. Their dialogue leans heavily on the Egyptian dialect rather than authentic Iraqi Arabic, which can be a bit jarring for players familiar with the linguistic differences. This detail slightly detracts from the immersion, making certain interactions feel less authentic. Despite this, House of Ashes excels in its cinematic horror experience. The tension, decision-making, and branching storylines keep players on edge, and the game’s choice-driven mechanics ensure that no two playthroughs are exactly the same. While it might not surpass other entries in The Dark Pictures Anthology, it’s still a highly enjoyable horror adventure that delivers plenty of thrills and a memorable story. A solid horror experience with a fascinating premise and strong performances. Some minor immersion issues, but still a must-play for fans of the series like myself. ⭐️ 6/10 ⭐️

I really like Dark Pictures Anthology games, and the co op mode of them is just prefect balance for for story. Also I like some mysteries that they have like the whole existence of the curator and the scenes that he step inside the game. Each game has a really different theme and unique story Some of them can be realistic stories that you wonder if it's actually happening in the real world and the others like house of ashes are supernatural but still give you the real emotion such as fear and hope. I'm really looking forward to the second season
