I've played all the of games in this series and have enjoyed them all. This is the only one where I've managed to get gold on every level. Still working on the others!

I was encouraged by New Yankee 7 to play New Yankee 8 but it fell short of what I expect in a time management game. It seems that there is a return to more monsters and the possibility of being unable to complete levels because of items disappearing if workers get stuck on the wrong side of a lake. I hit one or two levels like that before hitting level 29. The second time I played level 29 I checked to be sure I had 6 thorns (flowers?) to get all 6 pigs. But one of the workers wandered back over the ice and apparently that caused the "thorn / flower" to be removed from inventory. I have yet to decide if I will try level 29 for a third time but have decided to cross the next three New Yankee games off my play list and only idle them for 2 hours with the unlikely chance that trading cards will be added at a later date.
Although I really like other time management series by Yustas Game Studio I am crossing New Yankee off my Wishlist!
