Reminds me of 7 Colors on Amiga

Fun way to waste a few minutes, but you have to think.

Fun little game, but really, REALLY needs a human vs human mode, whether that be hotseat (with this kind of game, steam's integrated remote play together would be sufficient, as it is turn-based) or some other form of netplay. There's potential for various strategies involving plotting paths where you try to predict your opponent's color change and blocking them off of it by nabbing that color at a critical time, as well as the usual space-grabbing and trapping strategies. No idea if the game would be all that deep, as the AIs can be figured out after a while and countered fairly effectively. With human opponents, this game could potentially be an engaging hidden gem, but currently it is still good for a short fun puzzly romp only. Price is adequate on a sale; with player vs player implemented, price might be entirely justified. Hope the dev adds it at some point.

A really nice surprise of a game. As stated, offers quick games, but still requires thought. Games start identically, but by the time they are complete, each game is different. Offers varied AIs that each behave differently. Simple to learn, but I still find myself stopping to think and try to picture a couple turns ahead. No manual or tutorial at the moment, nor any kinds of setting. But at $2.99, well worth the price. I definitely got my money's worth.

Space chess against persian robot princes. It's a flood filling game. I've never seen a competitive version before. I love the atmosphere and no-fuss interface. Each game only takes a minute or two. The strategy is surprisingly deep. You have to get midfield quick, then strike a balance between containing the AI and claiming space. If you're too greedy, it will get past you and seize all the territory you couldn't quite secure. The hardest opponent is a fun challenge. You have to look ahead on both sides of the board, and weigh quick thin paths against opportunities to advance in multiple places. You can't both choose the same colour at once, which means you can predict the AI's move and block it - and it can do the same to you! Then in the next game you get to relax and mindlessly blitz the easy AI. 10/10. Just my cup of tea. A simple game, but with depth and charm.
