So, for some reason Naught Reawakening has been removed from Steam by the publisher which is pretty strange, considering that it was a nice game, And now we got this instead. I've done some research and turned out that Naught, in a nutshell, is a remaster of mobile Naught 1 for PC and Naught Reawakening was a remaster of mobile Naught 2 for PC. I dunno whose idea was to do things this way but that is what we have. To begin with, the gameplay didn't change much, so in this regard it is essentially the same game with 40 new levels. However, Reawakening was more appealing in terms of graphics and had much more effects and detailed environments. Of course, this can be justified by the fact that Naught is a remake of the very first game but why couldn't the developers remaster it on the same quality level as the second game. The music did not change much and still fits the tone of the game. Time trial mode has also remained pretty much unchanged, except the introduction of inverted colors, which is a bit controversial decision. And I would easily recommend this game without a doubt for the fans of Naught Reawakening and fans of unordinary platformers if it was not for one single issue - the price. I usually do not consider this factor but 20$ for a 2-3 hour game (5-6 at max if you go hard for the time trials) is simply too much. Naught Reawakening was 6$ and it was ok, I would accept it if Naught was 10$ or at least 15$ but one-third of an AAA game price for such a small game is pretty much irrational. If Reawakening was deleted because it did not sell enough, Naught will sell even worse. So, all in all, if you liked Naught Reawakening and want to play new levels with a slightly downgraded graphics it is a good choice, Nevertheless, wait for at least a 50% discount to buy it because, as I've already stated, 20$ price for such indie game is just too high. P.S. And yeah, level 19 took a lot of time to beat, so do not be surprised if you suddenly get stuck there and lose all your health.

Almost 2 years without extended edition on PC. Remake looks worse than the second game on release. Just download Naught Reawakening.

Early impression: Polished and creative platformer

I'm a fan of Naught games since 2015 .Unfortunately the game that called " Naught Reawakening) was removed .Howeve, we have at least this one available for purchase . TBH,It's an amazing game based on gravity .I loved the mechanism that you control the camera not the character. Pros: 1-Every level is unique designed. 2-The dark atmosphere . 3-The smooth movement. 4-The controls and physics are pretty good. 5-Great soundtrack. Cons : 1-The price is exagereted (I think it's a marketing killer ). 2-No bosses . 3-Short levels . 4-Little diversity of enemenies (most of them like robots can't follow the Naught (cat ) . 5-The artstyle seems less detailed compare to Naught Reawakening game . Maybe this game is a remake for Naught 1 that have been released on iOS version .I hope that we have an update to add more levels or bosses.Plus,wish to bring back old animation for character and environment (I mean just compare the surface we need more details not just black color ) . My rating 7/10 I recommend this game if you like a new mechanism for platformer games ,love a dark theme like limbo ,or if you search for a game make you dizzy .

Games recreation is good, love it! I've played naught 1, 2, and reawakening. Are you gonna add extended version for steam like nintendo and playstation got?

I would recommend getting this game while it's on sale. It's great, but $19.99 is a little too expensive. I played this game a lot as a kid, and it still holds up.
