This game is so beautifully made, a wonderful little time sink. I love otters so the inclusion of otter facts were well received. A great game to play when you want to wind down. No penalty if you die, just 'oh try again!'
10/10 would recommend.

This is such a lovely crafted game. Gameplay and controlls felt very smooth. The animations and the artstyle are done nicely, overall a great experience. Thank you for making this game.

Short and interesting 2D platformer with unusual (in a good way) mechanics.

A short, but good game. Fun gameplay, cool otter facts, all that jazz!

I really enjoyed the core of this game.
Bummer that I won't finish it due to the ending being vastly subpar.
The ending combines 3 design flaws, in ascending order of disappointment:
- The repetitive grind of a 3-stages (at least) boss fight, the most formulaic formula you could think of, one that was already overdone 40 years ago, back when we were undemanding and our wrists were nimble.
- The loss of character progression, all the fun and favourite weapons gathered beforehand, now replaced with a new but bland body with a simple peashooter.
- The impossibility to return to base and complete the good part, the exploration. The part with the couple of secrets I was planning to hunt down. There is no way to backtrack when the boss has been reached, so I'm stuck there with zero interest left and no options.
Fortunately, it happens at the end, so Charlie still gets an enthusiastic thumb up for 8 hours of good time, with clear and colourful visuals, peppy music, jovial characters and mood, and much, much flying and bouncing around.

Always wanted to go to Otter Space? Well now you can!
~ With Space Otter Charlie ~
Controls are very easy, storyline is good, characters are likeable & area design is great.
And the best thing is, the Otter Facts. Gotta love the Otter Facts.
The only complaint I have that it bugs out sometimes when you get out of a shaft, which is rather annoying.
I hope they fix that bug soon, because it took my a long time to figure out I had to press prtsc to get Charlie moving again.
Other then that, amazing game!

I finished Space Otter Charlie this morning after buying it about two nights ago and even though it's a smaller game I still had an absolute blast playing it! The art and designs are nice to look at, the story kept me wondering how and when our heroes were going to find a planet to call home, and the levels were fun to navigate. It's not a super long game and can be completed quickly if you take a few hours to sit down and play it, however sometimes a good short game is all we need to have fun. I definitely recommend picking it up and playing it if you want a game that is still fun, but doesn't require too much dedication and time to get through. I would love to see more extra levels to explore if somehow doable in the future. Until then I can definitely see myself coming back to replay this from time to time.

So this is what that other with the tubes did, she went to otter space, there, they'd met many dangers and adventures. did l mention this game has otters in it? it's reason enough to buy, the game is otterly charming but a bit short it's a fun and nice trip full of otter facts that might help you understand such magnificent creatures they are

I'm already an otter-obsessed maniac, but recently learning this game was on the way, I immediately got on the hype train and bought it launch day. And man, so far, what a fun little action platformer. Definitely worth the price of admission if you enjoy a pleasantly challenging little romp through zero-g physics puzzles, blasting baddies and blobs with a surprisingly varied arsenal of weaponry. Cute characters, atmospheric music, and fun gameplay, this is a gem amongst a tidal wave of mediocre recent releases. I really hope more people try this darling out.
