This game has been "abandoned". The dev kept saying in the forums that he was going to come back to it but that never happened. He said he had moved to another country and while I am sure that is no small undertaking, it's just been too long without any kind of update or communication. So he might not see it as abandoned, but 2 years without updates says otherwise.
