This is the first game I've asked for a refund. Controls and camera make it not fun at all

Great PC Game BUT..... It says "Steam Deck Verified" yet it run 10fps with all setting turned down to the lowest possible and it looks like trash

It is a good game, but the performance should be better. They should focus on that.

really good but want change able buckets and jack hammer and so if you bucket down on excavator it lifts up the tracks

Amazing game, I held off for years for various reasons but I was incredibly pleasantly surprised by how good it is. There's plenty of nitpicks but I was really amazed at what this game has to offer. Co-op is very fun, you can ride together in vehicles that have the seats to accommodate and you can make certain tasks faster and more profitable like tearing up road and throwing the old asphalt into a dump truck driven by a buddy. If you use first person be sure to enable the reflections in settings for your mirrors to work, they're much better than certain other games The biggest pros for me are the UI is very nice and not too simple or complex, you get all the useful info about your company and earnings as well as your fleet and perks etc. The difficulty is very flexible; at the beginning of each job you select the "scope" which determines how much work you do before it auto completes the step, at first it's jarring but after a while you'll come to appreciate the auto completion. You can manually fill and transport materials and vehicles or you can teleport them to skip the drive, you can also fill materials on site if you don't want to transport it. The economy is very easy with no real challenge, but it's a very relaxing game with lots of vehicles to choose from. The US map looks really good and is get detailed and fills in as you go, though I wish it wasn't desert because I am sick of deserts irl and in game but it's a nice Phoenix AZ vibe if you're into that. The biggest downsides I noticed was the lack of control customization like they added easy track controls on the numpad but they're not remarkable so on laptop you're stuck with QEZC instead of the simplified 4 numpad keys, although you get the hang of it eventually it's a nightmare at first. The other major disappointment is the lack of DLC for Caterpillar, Case, etc. The vanilla and DLC vehicles we get are great, but there's a gold mine of construction equipment that is barely explored in this game, you only get one size dozer from each company, one size dump truck from each company, etc. I'm not asking for free content, I'm just surprised they didn't make more content to buy. The graphics are great and the gameplay is smooth, it's definitely an arcade experience aside from the way vehicles handle which as a semi driver I can tell you feels a lot better than most games. Overall it's a definite recommendation on sale and even full price it's a decent grab.

wish it was a bit more sandboxy freeplay but its a great game and my toddler loves it too

although the controls aren't really intuitive, I keep coming back to this for the progress and to learn real world processes of general construction practices without being drowned in all of the rhetoric and detail that would otherwise be needed before operating machines worth thousands of dollars and the licensing needed to operate them. It's a fun little sandbox game that has a narrative just loose enough to feel free while being structured. User interface could be easier to navigate. They do include enough shortcuts in the game play top subvert that though so it keeps the pace of play at a decent pace and avoids the minutia of palaver.

Great game! Highly realistic, never gets boring, and always have opportunities for company expansion and new jobs. The price is ok. I would give this game a 45/50 those 5 points being price, and it takes a minute to get used to the game. Very impressive!

It's pretty 'meh'. Not what you think you are getting and pretty much rides-on-rails. It's not terrible enough to downvote and Steam does not offer an in-between vote, which this game would get from me.

As a grown man with a strong childhood hobby of playing with construction toys, I’ve always wanted to experience something similar in the virtual world. Huge thanks to the developer team for bringing us this excellent game, where I can relive those childhood passions and do the things I used to dream about. Construction Simulator is a genuinely fun game featuring diverse scenarios, powerful heavy machinery, and most importantly the opportunity to play co-op with friends and random players. The first-person rendering of the construction vehicles is top-notch and feels incredibly immersive. Although the game has a few bugs, lacks certain features, and contains some repetitive scenarios and sound issues, I hope the developers will continue to update it and address those problems. Personally, I would love to see unique missions like tunnel construction, railway line installation, port development, and much more. Also, it feels a bit odd that the co-op mode doesn’t include a text chat option, only voice chat. A text chat feature is definitely a must have. Despite these shortcomings, this is still a must-buy for anyone who loves heavy machinery.
