This game is not "early access", it's a disgrace.
Don't buy it. And if you do, be prepared to refund it asap.
The experience:
You spawn, you pick up weapons from the ground and move.
Except the poor weapon choice, you can't decide anything.
You move forward until you meet enemies (always germans) and shoot them.
Mostly they don't move and don't show any great AI behavior until you shoot them first or
you are literally next to them.
Then they just start running into random directions and shoot at you.
It's as basic as it gets. On the first map there are even friendly soldiers, but they are like statues and have no animations. They also don't shoot or do anything. It's a joke.
You don't get any response when you are hit,
the health bar is just draining until there is a "You Died".
You click respawn. Theres just a bag at the spot where you died and you can basically loot your stuff there.
Pressing ESC, with options and stuff, you can change the maps.
Yeah thats basically it. There is literally nothing to do in this game. I played the game for about 10 Minutes just to be able to write this review. Because after 5 Minutes you saw everything and there is literally no reason to continue playing.
Conclusion:
I am really disappointed. I saw this game beeing announced some time ago.
"WW2 coop? Sounds great. Some fun times with a good friend" I thought.
Forget it immediately.
Yes, it is early access. But I really start to hate this early access stuff.
Early access means, players can play the game during the early development.
They can leave feedback to make the game better and support the developers financially.
But this seems to get increasingly abused. This game is literally early Alpha stage. There is NOTHING to it. And it demands 15€, about 17$. Thats just scam and a shame. Even if the developer wanted to make early access and promises to do updates every day or such thing, he released a childs corpse. And thats really sad. There is no achievment or accomplishment here, it's like basic engine stuff. Nothing to be proud of.
And I don't see any hope for this game. Because if this is the progress made by the developer, from announcement to release and it will continue like this, this game will never get to a satisfying state in years.
