this is not a racing game. you have to go slow if you don't want to do a 180 .. you drive on butter. always get penalties.. just f*** this game.

Unplayable if you don't have a controller. Key assignments is a joke, can't leave the repair zone without leaving to the main menu.

No telemetry API
No triple projection
Every controller (e.g. shifter) is an Xbox controller so have fun, a random button is the not rebindable menu button
So that's after 5 minutes. Really curios how much shit hides deeper in!

Absolutely ridiculous choices by the developers on several things here: no ability to rebind menu navigation, no ability to turn off lens flares, and an annoying bug where half the time I start the game, I'm stuck driving left. Not even worth the $5 I got it for on sale. Go play Dirt Rally 2.

Just go get Dirt Rally 2.0.. there is a reason they compare WRC to Dirt and there is no comparison. If there was it would be night and day. Dirt got it right and WRC didn't.

The Physics are quite disgusting for the most part but if you really want to play rally then getting this on discount which was about -90% of then its not but certantly not worth it when on full retail a.k.a 29,99

its a certified scoutcat34 banger
honestly this is probably my favorite wrc game handling-wise so far. it all just feels so nice barring the occasional physics freakout mainly in rallye deutschland and monte carlo (my behated 3)
this game has the occasional two-endurance-stage-in-one-rally in the wrc1 league, but when you reach the wrc1 league, your team is usually good enough on repair speed to combat the length of the stages, unlike wrc8 (in my experience)
i have a few personal gripes, but theyre not really dealbreakers, namely monte carlo (this is just in general monte carlo is my biggest opp), the fact that the way your windows get dirtied is really odd and if you have more than one stage (which is all the time) youre likely to lose so much of your field of view in driver cam that its ultimately better to only drive using the dashboard camera if you really want a first person perspective. the damage distribution with crashes is also very odd? like i swipe a barrier and theres maybe a 50/50 chance it absolutely destroys my car or does nothing. also, the way things seem to break down almost seems scripted, nine times out of ten the first things to show any sign of wear are gonna be the engine or the suspension (the front left suspension always gives out first). and oh my GOD this game is so long once you reach the wrc1 league,,, never to the point where it became an outright slog but it got *really* close
anyways yeah uh games good this is a pretty good one, miles above wrc8 in most ways imo (except they made it so theres no more stiff fixed camera and im only a little salty i swear)
