I really love how lovey dovey and mostly drama free all the after stories are. Can't say I like Marie route in the original game because it's too dramatic for me but her after story is just perfect. 10/10

Hilariously enough, this review will probably be much like the one I made for the Re:Master version of this game (which is the one you should play first before playing this game). Again I'll only talk about story, everything else I said about art, UI, and stuff can be seen in my review of the title that precedes this one. Same drill, I'll talk about each route and give it a score out of 10 to TL:DR how much I enjoyed the routes. This game does not have a general route because all the stories in this game just expand on the routes from the previous title. Kokoro 7/10: Not much I can say here without spoiling anything. It's mostly a cute route though with the pair being slated with a new problem that can only be solved by them. It kind of goes back to them being game developers and how hard that is while having a bunch of hilarious and cute moments. Will they succeed? Who knows you'll have to read the route. I enjoyed it a bit more then the route that leads up to this from the previous game simply because I laughed more this time around and had a bit of fun with it. Marie 4/10: Story goes from being a thriller to being a lot more light hearted then the route that leads up to this from the previous game. Still don't particularly care for Marie as a character but this time around she is a lot cuter and makes a lot more moments where I just go "awwww" . I liked how this route went back to game development like things but it's basically just a route to say "Hey this couple is cute", woo I guess. Honoka 5/10: I wanted to like this route more but the build up for this route and what you get for that buildup is disappointing. I feel like there's plenty of room for Honoka to not be a one note character that loves to drink but they play into that heavily with her and don't explore her deeper mental state that they hint at through out her story. It all feels like they basically needed a full route from the previous game to explore her character and it's such a shame because there's a lot of potential here in my opinion. Oh well, at least this route was fun despite the disappointment and it also is the only route with two endings. One of which may as well be like a bittersweet ending from the last game. Saki 9/10: Major conflict with Saki is relatively over but now it's her good points that get her into trouble and make for a lot of comedic moments. Again very well written and you get to see a more unsure side of Saki when it comes to dealing with her relationship with Ai. It's very cute and very wholesome with Ai being your typically horn dog for a loli esque character. Definitely a great followup route to the previous game's story. Nana 9/10: Nice to see that Nana's route still keeps up the darker tone while giving her a more uplifting environment. She still has her fears or trepidation about her relationship with Ai but for someone with such a tragic backstory that was basically taught that good things are hard to come by, her uneasiness makes sense. I will say this time around I felt like one of her biggest concerns should've been solved easily with a phone call to Marie but maybe that was simply due to the fact she couldn't get a hold of her? Never really saw evidence of that in the story but it's possible she just couldn't reach her. Is this story to the scale of her previous story that I loved? Hell nah man but I still loved it to bits and to be honest, if we entertain the idea that these characters live on beyond these stories, I hope this is the last of her problems because my favorite girl needs a break damnit.

My only Recommendation is to buy the sequel when discounted. This game is way too short with some character story felt like it was unnecessary such as Nana's Story for it's price tag. It only have very few new CG/Sprite (11 CG not include variation), and roughly 2-5 hours for each route. Aside from having Honoka Route, I felt like this could've included to Re:master version/The original game as an Extra to add up the 60 bucks price. Likewise, In the end, YumeUtsutsu Re:Master and Re:After felt like it really lacks what you could call character depth and routes relationship. I honestly wouldn't mind to see an actual remake of this game in the future that have a better script as the characters itself are pretty interesting but executed poorly.

Personally, I still think Nana’s route is the best. I’m a fan of the author since FLOWERS series. Honoka’s route can be a lot better and should have focused more on their Lovey-Dovey moments.... The plot is all over the place. A bit disappointed though... I really like her a lot. Maria-route is..... don’t even know what to say... It was bad toward the end of the original game and continue to be bad. Overall, 1 Great route, 1 okay-ish route, 2 WTF routes and 2 more routes to play (don’t expect them to be good though... considering the original games.....). But I still recommend the game just for Nana’s greatness.
