Its fun to battle but the difficulty is out of wack.
Ridiculous difficulty spikes constantly come out of nowhere. it is not well balanced. I suppose I haven't tried playing on the easy difficulty but I feel like there is no way to win on regular difficulty. I suppose if turning the difficulty down makes the ai get stupid you could win but where is the fun in that. you don't get enough money for winning and random events don't let you rest between battles. (i'm all for things being challenging but just because its technically "possible" to win doesn't mean its fun to beat your head against a wall trying to find an optimal min max solution to each move you make, and it is impossible to completely minmax when there is a significant amount of rng involved)
also why give a big long cut scene for each social interaction if you cant do anything to affect them. its a waste of time clicking through them. you either need to be able to make some choice so there is a reason to watch a cutscene or there just needs to be a results page at the end of the night showing relationship changes where you could click on it to view a cutscene if you wanted. (i'm aware they can be skipped buy why waste my time making me skip them)
also on the do jobs in town some jobs just click the character get money some jobs are maps where you need to fight but there is no indication which are which. got a bunch of my people killed because the interface isn't clear what you are doing. (a nebulous "danger level" means nothing to someone who did not design the game and does not know what that terminology means in that context)
