This is the most gorgeous Need For Speed to date. I find it impressive that a 2015 game still looks way more beautiful than the latest entries of this franchise, unbound included. I love the "night only" setting, so no daylight races and they really nailed the vibe with this one. Having said that, I gotta also say that it's a vergy buggy game to the point that it makes it stressful to play and on another negative note, the story is really cringy, however, when everything goes right (no bugs) I still find this to be my favorite "modern" need for speed game and I have a lof of fun with it.

Game is not playable. First bug is constant braking so you can't drive the car. Second bug is X and B button open the map instead of nitrous and engine shut off. Did they even test the game?

The game is fun and a nice throwback to old style NFS, gives me Underground 2 vibes and i really want to play it a lot. However the "always online" requirement keeps me from doing it since in 10 minutes servers kicked me twice, and on my first session this happened again. Seriously, this mechanic needs to be removed, kinda kills the game's potential. I know being connected with other players is all fun and gives life to the game world, but if that affects playability it becomes a drawback. Thinking about refunding, even though i paid it only 2€, but i can't get to play it properly and don't like to throw away my money.

This game is a frustrating mess. Initially, the difficulty is laughably easy. Perfect, I think, I'm going to enjoy an arcade game that doesn't stress me out or make me want to break the screen. I'm just going to have a good time driving around. WRONG. Two thirds into the game the difficulty quickly escalates to absurd levels. Basic, unupgraded IA cars inexplicably outperform fully upgraded supercars, rendering upgrades pointless. NPC cars materialize out of thin air at every turn, causing unfair collisions and ruining your race. "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." The AI is useless, crashing into each other at every turn, creating pileups. Drift train races are particularly broken, with opponents either slowing and blocking you or vanishing into the horizon, and constantly ramming the player, the joke is that you have to stay close to the IA cars to get points, which is insufferable. "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." Server issues are very common, with frequent disconnections even in solo mode, and loading times are excruciatingly long. Progress is regularly lost, forcing you to repeat tedious races. I once even lost the progress of the last two races. "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." The police escape missions are a mix of boredom and impossible challenges. The first five minutes are slow, you have to stop every 10 seconds so you don't lose the police, then suddenly the police cars are nearly impossible to evade for 10 to 15 minutes, especially in the under 200 HP mission. "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." Checkpoints are often broken, skipped without a warning, you have to get to the next one to notice, at that point the race is already lost. Starting and restarting races is extremely slow, irritating and infuriating with unskippable cutscenes. The ground markings indicating the route are always trying to force you to crash into solid objects or take the wrong route, making unnecessary abrupt turns at the last second. Many times when you crash, you're repositioned facing the wrong route, a solid object or more than once, I've been repositioned facing the opposite direction of the race. On top of that, you have no control of the car during the cutscene. A crash is almost always a synonym for a lost race. Most races consist of unavoidable collisions with NPC cars, and repeating the races ad nauseam until you're lucky enough not to crash and an NPC car doesn't appear in front of you. "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." Every time you're finally beating a hard race, when you don't get hit by an NPC car you'll get hit with a "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION..." message and consequent disconnection from the game.

Always have been a big fan if the Need For Speed franchise and personally I have enjoyed this game. Although many criticise this game for its: Map, Driving mechanics & cringey ass dialogue (Whenever spike starts speaking I lowk want him to crash next time he gets behind the wheel) Apart from these things I think the game is beautiful and holds up incredibly well for a game that is 10 years old. Its certainly worth a play! 6/10

This was an excellent experience, the story is a little too creepy, but the gameplay is perfect. Too bad this NFS is going to die when the servers shut down. Not too long, not too short, has the perfect amount of races and types. It is an open world racing game, maybe not so big as your usual suspects, but it has a decent map,. good graphics, a good car list and hours of pure fun! The police in this game is so dumb LOL.

The story is mediocre, even bad. However, the customization is good, and the car sounds are very realistic. But among all these aspects, what I liked the most about this game is its stunning night theme, so stunning that I had to rub my eyes twice.
