- Saya: my personal waifu, can swap to a katana which are less of a damage dealing weapon but more of a movement option/tech. Personally, the katana she has access to is completely overpowered assuming you don't have a flying ability from artifacts/weapon actives (which you don't 99% of the time). After playing her, I lost all motivation to play anything else cause movement is just that important to me (even the dual gun or the roll doesn't interest me). [strike] Bonus: she's hot [/strike]
- Amir: Decent, not that interesting after you go through the game enough and know roughly what artifact do what.

DLC is worth buying. Saya is really good. I love her. She can do lots of hacks in the game. Really nice. Personally I didn't like Amir but Saya is really worth it.

New characters are always great and these two had unique abilities to pay around with. Saya and her multi direction sword attack was great to use as an extra jump and/or if you wanted a full melee run.

Very good. Saya is top tier for reaching those high places early game. Amir is an odd one, but if you can stack shields, he's really good.

Saya really changes up the gameplay for a newbie like me. I quite enjoy using her to access high up places while adventuring around stages.

You are basically buying this DLC for Saya since Amir is ok i guess since you know, can just look up the wiki for items and hit ctrl + f to see what items do.
Highly recommend you buy the Alter DLC since it makes Saya extremely fun to play since mobility is always nice to have.

the best DLC by a mile the 2 characters you get are so fun to play for such a good price saya is my fave her sword change the way you move as it can dash i recommend you get this now

Got it for buying first week, but would still buy regardless. Two bucks CAD is definitely worth it. Saya is okay..early game the extra height from her katana swipe is neat for accessing some out-of-reach stuff, but past floor 5 melee becomes way too dangerous IMO to justify using.
As for Amir, he's a bit of a beast if you can luck out and stack up a bunch of shields. I've only managed to get his innate flight once--heck, most other times I've had flight it's been items..but that's RNG for you. I'd say Amir's greatest advantage is previewing items. While R-6 can also do that, R-6 can't use heart containers..so Amir is essentially a more survivable R-6.
In the end, a couple dollars for two characters isn't bad at all. If the developer continues on this path and expands the roster, I can't really complain.

Saya's Katana isn't really worth using for combat. Seems like every-time I try to use it, I usually get hurt during the process. However, it is great for mobility like you have an extra jump it seems. I d however hate the fact that Amir has a characteristic that should really be applied to all characters. Since I'm still new to the game, I still don't know what every item does and to pay for it to get that perk seems silly to me. Still, I recommend getting this mostly for Saya and that extra handy mobility and to learn what items do with Amir. It's not the expensive and both are worth it of course.

The 2 characters you get in this dlc are better then the 2 starting characters, but are not op/pay to win by any means as there are 6 other characters and some of them are arguably better, but if you do really like the game for just $1.50 i think its worth a buy, just hope they don't release much more paid dlc and we get more free dlc instead.
