::EDIT::
Coming back to this table after only having played it once or twice before, I find that this is a relatively easy table. Keep your Ball Save rolling by hitting all in-lane roll-overs. Story modes are still super short on time so a miss or two here and it's Mode Failed, yet, there are still tons of mini-modes and spinner specials to nab. Again pretty barren field compared to other Deluxe tables but it's a nice change. Restarting the table corrects the multi-ball lock when switching from Classic mode to the other modes.
I don't seem to be having the poor physics reactions that I had previously. Maybe something was patched or altered in the game code?
::Original Thoughts::
Zaccaria, I am just going to assume that you've implemented some weird AI mechanics that activates as players get closer and closer to the top of a leaderboard. In the last hour, I've had a ball-lock decide it's not going to lock during a "mini-mission." No problem locking before or after the mission start, but suddenyl, during it... guys, I bounced off that thing 6 times in 45 secs... which sucked cause it was ball #1 and I was rolling past 40 mil on it. Then during Lamp Hunter, I'm sitting at #3 w/1 lamp left and no worries when the ball locks into the Story Mode lock, hits the bumper which does nothing??? for the first time in the whole hour of not playing, and the ball just perfectly goes between the flippers. I mean totally freakin' caught off-guard. Also, there's a bug that occurred after playing Sim and Arcade where Frankenstein's two fingers are blocking the starting ball path. So they go into the multi-ball slot and you can't get it out.... which reminds me of another bug during regular play... the multiball doesn't launch until the next ball? The game said, "multi-ball ready/active," then nothing happened until I started the next ball, at which point, it automatically started dropping balls.
Okay, onwards w/review. Fairly, simplistic design compared to the other Deluxe tables. Fairly chill. I like the voice acting, but the artwork,,, yeah, it looks like that knock-off barbie brand Dollz or Monster High School or whatever it was called. I would never go out and buy this table outside of a Bundle b/c cartoon sex doesn't sell me, and I too preferred the Old School more adult Spooky theme.
The completion of missions on Spooky Deluxe evades me, but at least, it's not like Mr. Universe.... or maybe it's Cinestar Deluxe... where hitting the flashing targets for the missions cause the ball to go down the drain. Lots of 2 million bonuses on this table so it's fun getting a random voice yelling 2 million at you when you have no idea what you did. Makes me feel like I just got a surprise package in the mail.
I like the barricaded ramp in the center left, I really wish when you plowed through it that there would be like a mine car or something that would roll away as if being chased by ghouls and ghost, it would at some environment to the story.
Also, the Ball Save shoot back doesn't suck on this one. Thank freakin' gawd! I'm not even sure I've had a Ball Save to Drain automated shot yet. Warning tho. You do need to be aware of the Story Ball lock. That lock on Sim mode has a tendency to bounce at an angle that if one reacts to soon or too late, your flipper will catch it underneath on the bounce and drain it. Sometimes I enjoy these dead ball intricacies when one can learn from them and react appropriately; if it is just a flaw in the table than that's a whole other situation.
Overall, I liked this table in a Bundle.

The new table is ok but the aesthetic really sucks. It looks like a hot topic high schooler drew the characters and decided vampire titties between the flippers was just the coolest thing ever. The choice to change was weird because the original Spooky tables had more generic "spooky" stuff like skulls and owls, which was charming. The voices are also pretty bad.
This isn't the worst "deluxe" table, but not a particularly great one.

HI Everyone!
I just played this and here are my thoughts. The new artwork with the vampires and the towering Frankenstein is cool. I'm glad the great voice work is back paired with the awesome colored DMD. The ambient sounds are spooky and add to the table theme. I hope that the rest of the tables are given this great Deluxe treatment. Must buy! 5/5!
