Alien Scumbags is an absolute treat! If you enjoy side scrolling with great humor, this is the one for you! So many throwbacks to classic games, and some a bit newer. Aptly named characters, and a nice amount of difficulty, and an absolutely banging soundtrack!
I love pixel art, and appreciate the work that has gone into this game since it first came out. I don't do enough hiding, so I tend to die a bunch, but that's half the fun! Am I right? For this price point, you absolutely can't go wrong! Give it a try!

A good indie game with retro flavors.
The perfect experience to have when I want to have just a casual moment of fun. Sounds and visuals are a celebration of the history of video games and nerd culture.
Controls are made simple and camera is pretty near of the character, which gives you more a sense of claustrophobia. Anyway, the game is full of secrets so that you may want to play its levels over and over.
I think it's a great game!

Alien Scumbag is one of the best games I played off late..It is very addictive in a way that makes you keep coming back again & again to play .. The pixel art is top notch & so is the game play...There is lot of attention to detailing .. This game just shows how much can be achieved through right pixel art.. I highly recommend this game to everyone.

What can I say? This is a pure and simple nostalgia trip! I freely admit I played it on Pussy mode and even then the challenge was just enough to make it fun but testing (for me at least). The references to the good ol days of film and gaming are perfect nuggets to distract you long enough to get eaten, blown up, sliced and diced and so much more. Thing is I went back again and again because it is addictive. I would fully recommend this if you have a few brain squeezing hours to spare!

I admire the amount of detail that went into this game. You can definitely tell there was plenty of love put into it. There was always something new to keep you on your toes and engaged throughout. I recommend giving this a shot... if you dare.

A fantastically fun, high energy arcade shooter with more pop culture references than you can shake a stick at. If you like blasting your way through enemies, mild obscenity and side scrolling arcade shooters then this is definitely for you.

Just started playing and my immediate reaction is....This is so worth the money! The developer put a lot of thought into making it entertaining through humor, atmosphere and gameflow. The intro is well put together and really funny. The background and action sounds are solid and some of his (player) in-game commentary is pretty funny. Level design is simplistic but gets the job done. I bought it on sale but feel a higher normal price could be justified. Give it a shot.

Was a blast to play this! In the time that I have played I really enjoyed myself. From collecting different skins (to a unique one on Halloween) to the different weapons and monster, level layout and the humour! The game measures in amount of blood spilled in litres. How f'ing cool!!! Recommended!

Alien Addiction! This game is so much fun. I particularly love all the references, not just for some of my old games, but an entire shopping list of movies and games. Half of the fun is spotting them all! This game is clearly made with passion, dedication and a huge dose of dedication. Right up there with my favourite indie games. I am glad that not all indie games are this good as AAA developers such as myself will be out of a job! heartily recommended for those with a sense of humour! - Jane Whittaker, gameplay developer Alien Vs Predator, Atari et al.

A cool retro 2d platformer that has a comedy overtone. Well built and has controller support. Lots of pixel blood and gore. Reminiscent of doom with all the hidden secrets. Definitely a cool indie game.
