I started with 13 and have moved through all versions until this point. The time this program has been running in hours is more towards rendering, then re-rendering, then dealing with a crash and having to re render, or redo all my work. It crashes constantly and without warning. I use it primarily for my Youtube channel, as it's the only program I know inside and out, plus I don't make enough money to adapt, and purchase another version or system, but if you do, please don't waist your money with the insane headache this mess.
1/3rd of the total hours is actual work and getting videos done in a decent time. The other 2/3rds is fighting the random crashing, and loss of progress. Save constantly, after every click sometimes, sometimes I have to fully restart the PC or even wait a literal day before it works well enough for me to get a video out.
Adobe, and the later versions of this program are better, so please, save yourself form the head ache and just invest in the better versions, this does include previous versions of VEGAS. 15 was pretty good for me, and I can't downgrade the steam version, and lost my old key for 15.
