I find my self holding my hand out in front of my face and rotating it like i was back in my electromagnetism exams back at university. The difference is that i'm really enjoying not immediately knowing the answer. There maybe a 3D printed cube in my future. If you like puzzlers go get this now! Although then i'll have to face the competition in the global stats.

HexaHedra is an awesome puzzle game reminding me of Zachtronics's Infinifactory. The compact levels force you to think "inside the box" ;D for optimizations. The rewind feature is fantastic for refining solutions and really following along what is happening. Competing for peak efficiency with friends and the global community makes me want to replay each level over and over again to find a better solution. A must-play for puzzle enthusiasts!

It's a while since I got pen and paper out when playing a video game, but I've made myself a cube as an aid to factory design. The evolution of the mechanics through the levels was well paced and the process control system works really well to make long chains clear when debugging. I also really enjoyed the art style. It's clear but adds a lot flavour to the factory. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who already like factory and programming games or who want to get into them for fun or education.

This is a great puzzler with the added bonus of getting to play with factory optimisation to solve puzzle in even better ways. My only criticism is the first few tutorial levels are a bit of a slow experience and could use a bit more pacing with some low level puzzles in between to enjoy. Stick it out, once past that early section it really becomes great and the levels quickly become very fun challenges you'll want to play.

A fun puzzle game that is similar to the Zachtronics style puzzle games with some interesting new ideas. Nice and simple to start with but keeps things interesting by quickly adding new complexities as the story progresses.

Very fun little puzzle game which has you mentally twisting cube in your head (and on screen!) until you're sure you've got the process right, after which it inevitably goes wrong and you curse at yourself for being so stupid once you find out why. The story so far has also been a very pleasant surprise - it's not just puzzles, there's something going on and I can't wait to find out exactly what... A nicely polished UI with very clear and thoughtful options when it comes to accessibility and how your data is handled, which is very refreshing. Plus the Editor and Steam Workshop integration means I don't think I'm going to be short of hexahedral puzzley goodness for quite some time.

[disclaimer: I'm only half way through the campaign... but then I never finish games like this, my perfectionism/OCD is way too strong!] It's a solid zach-like. The core cube-manipulation mechanics are novel and mentally stimulating (expect to spend hours rotating your fingers in the dark instead of sleeping). More importantly, there are a HUGE number of possible solutions to each puzzle; you will never run out of new (and meaningfully different) approaches to try. To me that is what sets the best programming puzzlers apart from the rest. The UI is... not good. It adds enough friction to drain much of the fun from the experience. I thought maybe it was because I was playing on Deck, but it was barely better when I tried keyboard & mouse. That said, I'm still playing... decide for yourself if that's due to quality game design or OCD! Music, graphics, story... all mediocre, but totally unimportant to a game like this.

Hexahedra is a new Puzzle based game which I have been following throughout it's development. I don't think that there is an existing "category" which fits Hexahedra - it really is a novel concept. It's quirky style, graphics and experience are simply lovely and results in some fantastic light hearted interlude from a seriously engaging puzzling experience. The factory ethos and programming line opens up the inner optimiser for the software engineer in me, and each level has multiple replay value as you optimise for speed, machines and steps! A great game, and well worth the price for hours of fun!

A sleek automation game, This is the first time I play a game of this type, however, my on-boarding was pretty smooth in Hexahedra. The UI is very well done, with lots of QoL features to help the player to setup their box factory. Its really surprising how seemingly simple the individual mechanics are, while their combinations lead to a lot of depth, such as loops, complex sequences, and more. I really like this kind of elegant design because it makes getting into the game much simpler without sacrificing its depth. My inner urge for optimizing my factories is leading me into many a rabbit hole, and I am happy going down them.

A really excellent Zachlike programming game. Fun to blaze through the levels with the quickest solution you can come up with, even more satisfying to build on those solutions and make them as efficient as possible. The rewind mechanic is an absolute game-changer when it comes to the efficiency stage. Not sure why more programming games don't employ it! Particular shoutout to how well this runs on my laptop. I'm always on the lookout for games which I can play with a track pad without time sensitivity to my actions, and this fits that bill really well. The optimised system requirements help with that, too, of course. Definitely a game I will be sinking a not-insignificant amount of time into!
