Game is alright, Im sure you worked hard to make this game. I just dont think its worth $20, could be better.

A game so heavily focused on resource gathering it makes it even more boring than it already is. The game plays so slow it fails to draw me in whatsoever. Few major problems:

There is no leveling system. In a game that considers itself an RPG, this is pretty important IMO

Enemies drop (as far as I could see) only gold and materials. That's it. The extent of combat is standing still and holding your mouse down on the enemy. FUN.

It's just.. not fun. It feels clunky and "off"

$20 is FAR too steep. This is more like.. a $5 game at best. Sorry not sorry.

This game is really cool. It's simple to learn and play, a little challenging at times, and a nice relaxing way to just spend time. I'm impressed.
I love the base building and managing of your people. Reminded me of Warcraft, but with a twist.

I bought this to support the developer because I wish there were more games like this out there - games where you directly control a hero while also building a base and ordering units. This is kind of the perfect version of that kinda game but with every mechanic at its most basic level.
I'd recommend if you want to see more games like this, and I hope the developer continues to update it or work on a sequel or something similar. There's some real charm to this game, and it is pretty fun for a while, but needs more features to really be worth the asking price. Even adding co-op/pvp would drastically increase the amount of content here.

This game was in development for 7+ years, had a Kickstarter, and has recently started going on sale at a low price. At first glance, you may think it's a Minecraft clone, but that is not the case at all. This is actually a combat-heavy kingdom management game. Pick it up if you like a good RTS.
Pros:

On a mechanical level, a near-perfect medieval 4X RTS

Melee anybody that gets in your way

Lots of polish on the rendering code makes it run smooth as butter

Only 1.1 GB on disk
Cons:

Fixed 720p screen resolution

Bad music (PROTIP: Turn it off and you'll have a better time)

Childish writing (dragons, Skullmen, "greatful", etc.)

Jank
I have a soft spot for indie games, and this title certainly seems as a labor of love, as a personal project to build the game the developer wants to play, and as such, might not be for everyone.
The game is a fairly simple hybrid of diabloesque ARPG controls, minecraft like basebuilding and hands off RTS (you "build" units that have a pre-set behaviour that you don't control, ie, "knights" will roam and chase enemies, "guards" will stay in an area and attack enemies that enter it, etc; which is not the coolest way to handle RTS imo, but it works).
I do feel the game is overpriced, you can get way better titles on that price range, buy on sale.
I appreciate the Linux native build.
To the dev: you should be able to have knights and archers follow you or stay in an area on command, imho.
