Just what I was looking for

Don't buy it. it's been two years without an update and you only have one part of the game

Very cool game. I am pretty sure I got it on sale, but so far I think the full price is very fair. Pros: Outstanding graphics. My 1060 3gb does great on high settings, drops from 60 fps to about average 45 on max settings. Still looks great on medium settings. I wish more side scrolling hack and slash games looked like this...don't get me wrong, I like the pixel aesthetic too and it will always have its place. Movement and attack mechanics feel good. Effects are sharp without being too saturated and distracting. Enemy designs are generally simple but varied and satisfying to beat. So far, has nice pacing. Havent gotten into it much to say anything about the story or boss variety yet. It is still early access, so I am looking forward to seeing what sort of updates are coming. Cons: Not much yet to complain about as I am less than an hour in, but one big thing stands out. You have three basic attack buttons. X is your regular attack. Y is a fast combo attack, and B is a slower but wider combo attack...the X button attack seems useless....Maybe I am missing something here. I never use it. See no reason to. Maybe as I get further into the game, its purpose will become more apparent. But unless that is the case, I would much rather get rid of the vanilla attack button, rotate the other attack buttons one counter clockwise and put a dash or roll move on B. Another con is there doesn't really seem to be much extraneous content yet...like lore or a bestiary, and so far I have not seen an inventory or character attribute screen but maybe its coming... I do wish those things were present, or at least a sign of them, at the beginning.

the controls make this game a pain in the ass to play.. theyre not very responsive.

I encountered a few glitches here and there but nothing game breaking. Its a good game. Just waiting for the next act.

Wow, this game is excellent, why isn´t it more known or commented ? Early Access and all, the polished Act 1 alone was totally worth of my buying it, and to me deserves and A game score ! (Act 2 & 3 pending). Kudos to the devs !

i can say it's a good platformer, bit easy tho but overall gameplay enjoyed me. i'll be waiting for the Act2. Game feels almost complete, didn't see any game-killing bug or anything. Only thing bothered me is how big character and the other graphic elements on the screen, it would be nice if the graphics little more smaller. Most of the time i'm going down to sub floors without seeing anything. And this game needs dark-tone music according it's atmosphere. I loved the game supports 32:9 screen ratio btw.

I really love the combat in this game. The game features a variety of skeletal enemies that provide a good challenge to the player as a sword and shield hero who also inherits demonic powers that adds an extra layer of depth to the gameplay. The puzzles and platforming elements also help to break up the action and keep things interesting. Overall, I highly recommend this game to fans of side scrolling games. The variety of enemies and powers, along with the inclusion of puzzles and platforming, make for a highly enjoyable and satisfying experience.
