I would say no, this game came from those Hoyle Casino games back in the early 2000s. It's not added some exciting features nor used like Topaz Labs AI upscaling textures or that as that puny tiny screen isn't ideal for 4K displays.
So, Encore I'll be assertive and post my constructive criticism: can we at least have upscaled textures and put more effort in to those early 2000 materials please!

I got this to practice some black jack and try to learn some roulette strategies.
However, it does not calculate the win correctly on roulette when playing the 3rd 12th with the first column of 12.
It only tallies the Column! (didn't try other combinations, just moving on to another software).

Very fun game that brings back childhood memories since this is the Hoyle games rebranded.
HOWEVER, there's no resolution options and I was trying to play this with family by putting it on the TV through an HDMI cable and duplicating my displays, only for the game to randomly freak out and exit out of fullscreen and I would lose audio completely. The only fix was to restart the game.
PLEASE FIX THE RESOLUTION AND DISPLAY ISSUES!

This is a really good collection of casino games. I already had a few games such as video poker and slot machines but this gives a much bigger selection of games. I noticed there are a few bugs in the game. I just tried played Video Texas Hold 'Em, and I had a flush and the dealer had a pair and the dealer won the hand and it didn't give me credit for the flush.

I played these games when they first came out and loved them. Still have my Hoyle 2004 CD-ROM by sierra, complete in box.
This is an exact replica from the first year Encore bought the series (Hoyle versions were better IMO)
For me it’s exactly what I was looking for (minus the Encore vs Hoyle version). For others it will be just an outdated casino game.
Love it for practicing new craps strategies or playing other casino games without the risk.
Wish somebody would make a modern HD version, but it would likely include micro transactions and you’d have to give away all your personal information.

Good Casino game. has a wide variety of games. AI interaction is entertaining & have unique Personalities (you can mute interaction and comments if you find then annoying). The fact that there's the element of other players, does add to the feeling that you're at a Casino.
Technically, it's pretty stable but does crash on occasion.

I do not know about the Hoyle games, but I am glad that I found this. There are some frustrating elements of this game for sure, and I suppose that some of the negative reviews are justified. Unless you adjust the scale of your monitor, you are pretty much forced to play in fullscreen. There is only one windowed mode and it is itty bitty. The game itself has not aged very well. That said, this is packed with a variety of casino games. If you were to go and hunt down say something like blackjack, video poker, roulette, and the like adding them up will exceed the price of this game (not considering free or freemium options). In addition to that, some games such as slots are scarce on Steam, especially classic slots. There are tons of variations in this game but that mostly consists of bet ranges and bet sizes (i.e. the range of slot bets .25, .50, 1.00, 5.00 and so on). Some of the games available not listed in the description are Video Blackjack, Video Texas Hold'em, Multi-line Slots, and Video Slots. I can see myself playing this game for a while, and I have found that it works decently on the Steam Deck either using the touch screen or the track pad.

It's the Hoyle Casino 2012 (judging by Wikipedia's screenshot).
It's an old classic game, which had a lot of editions with minor improvements, starting from '98.
An old, but good quality game.
Works fine on Windows 10. (And Linux too, by the way!) Both windowed and fullscreen mode, although resolution is fixed. It works without issues as it is, but just in case you don't know, there are tools to made window borderless fullscreen. One such tool is called "Fullscreenizer", search for it, it's free and open-source.
I recommend this game to everyone. But not as a gambling simulator, but as a tool to better understand your weaknesses in money management. Enter the tournament in the game of your choice, and try to find the right balance between the possible reward and loss, or between fear and greed.
It can help you in the real world. Not for gambling, but in many financial operations, where you can control your money, but not the outcome of any particular investment.
Stay away from slots though, they can be very addictive...
It's an offline casino, a one-time purchase, and no annoying stuff like microtransactions and artificial addiction methods. Just launch and relax.
I wish they release it for the phones - to play casino in a classic way without all the f2p vomit.
It's funny* to see complaints about the price. Well then go spend this $20 on a starter pack in any of the smartphone free-to-play virtual casinos and spin the reels for a couple of hours.

There are a lot of games here that gives the win to losing hands. I have had the best hand in the Poker games, and was defeated because the game didn't recognize the cards I had. One situation in Omaha I had 10's over 9's, and was beaten by 9's over K's. Tens over Nines is the better hand. They need to fix the bugs, and make the games accurate. Otherwise, this game is pointless cause you'll never win much.

I grew up playing Hoyle Casino series. So I am a bit biased since it feels very nostalgic playing this. It is offline, but I just can't get over the in-game dialogues. If you are looking to learn about different types of casino games in a no-pressure condition, the game is for you.
BUT a game with no major improvements since 2008 for a $19.99 seems lazy. Add new features/characters/graphic enhancements/anything... Don't get me wrong, it is still a legendary game but the price tag is not worth it.
