Recommend! It's giving Life is Strange vibes. Enjoyed this one and satisfied with the ending on my first playthrough. I wish it was longer but it looks like I finished the game in 4.3 hours. I didn't go exploring and taking my time with things which I imagine would stretch the game out a little longer though. When's the sequel coming out?

The atmosphere of the game is nice, but the writing went off the cliff the longer the game went on

I liked this game. It was a short experience, but an enjoyable one. You don't see many games set in this era, which is a shame. I just wish there were more games like this.

This games story is not very good by the standards of other detective games. This is mostly due to the dialogue but it also does not wrap up very well in my opinion. The actual part of the story affected by your cleaning is laughably handled, as while I understand what it was going for it did not feel like a satisfying conclusion at all. Hell, if the cleaning itched the part of my brain that wanted compulsive order it'd at least have that but no. My point being that cleaning in this felt like haphazard theming at best; removing it wouldn't actually change very much. The characters you encounter here are also not particularly interesting and have little to no actual depth, though if you like games like Life is Strange this games writing will probably resonate much more with you, as the only characters that talk to you often will spew the most aggravatingly forced quirky slop I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. Anyway, I'd skip this one and just play Shadows of Doubt or something. At least then you won't see what's coming

Fantastic game. I was immersed from beginning to end. Would highly recommend it to someone who likes a bit of mystery, historical settings, or point and click style games.

A really fun game. I would love to play a sequel, prequel, or some type of spiritual successor with the same mechanics. That being said, this game isn't perfect. Given that it's a fairly short game and it's so choice heavy that means it's very much replayable, or at least it should be. That's not a bad thing, but it's a shame that they don't streamline the process. I can understand for a first time playthrough they want to set the tone and they don't want people speeding through things and missing out on crucial information. However I think some sort of NG+ that unlocks running or speed walking alongside the ability to either fast forward or skip cut scenes would have been amazing. I DO want to see what happens if I do things differently but I don't want to be forced to sit through every single thing all over again. Although this one wouldn't be locked behind a New Game Plus, another QoL feature the game is missing is a backlog for dialogue. Sometimes you accidentally go through a line too quickly, etc. Having the ability to look at what was previously said would be very useful, even better if you could replay the voice line. Despite these criticisms I do recommend it. Not to parrot others but I loved that it reminded me of the old Nancy Drew games. It's not a clone either though, it still stands out as something different and original. All of the choices and the unique way you go about making some of them are very interesting and the optional romance was a fun little treat too.

Its an "ok" game. WAYYY to short and for the price def not worth it. I thought there would be more parts to it because they're are doors you cant access that will give you the option to open, however it wont allow you to open them. Game ended suddenly and you never really know certain details about what goes on.

This is a fun story, and both romance options are a delight! You'll definitely want a guide for the home stretch, but the rest is pretty intuitive while still being fun.

For the most part, this is a lovely game. Graphics, characters, voice acting, plot. What ruined it for me is that it's the kind of game where you almost invariably get the bad ending on your first attempt and you have to replay it several times to guess your way to the real ending. And you can't skip the dialogue. No, your game is not good enough to make me want to listen to the dialogues a dozen times. Games never are.
