No way we could get the multiplayer to work for more than 2 minutes, have been refunded as we specifically bought it to play with friends. Pretty poor performance compared with Overcooked! 2.

I really enjoyed playing this game it's very challenging, allows up to four players, and is great for learning teamwork.

It's a money grab from all the players who bought all the previous content from the games. But also it is nice to have it all combined together. They only added a minimal amount of new content. But playing Overcooked 1 without lag was nice! I also really liked the grid layout for chef selection. You can change the skins on them now also. The graphics were fine before so I don't see much difference there. I haven't tried out the multiplayer much to judge on that for this game.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this. I loved OC2 and was looking forward to playing this one for a while, but it fell flat in so many ways. First off, even at max graphics, it has a rougher look to it then OC2--even on the OC2 levels. And as many others have mentioned, there are connectivity issues, which is unacceptable considering this isn't a problem in the other games. It just feels worse to play with little gain. They call it a remaster but don't add the ability to throw in OC1 levels, which was very disappointing. I don't know what the reason is, but it's simply less fun without it, and it's annoying going between levels that allow you to throw and levels that don't. Don't buy this game, you'll have much more fun on the original games.

I cannot recommend this game due to persistent controller issues and steamdeck compatibility issues. Despite claims that it works on Steam Deck and supports Remote Play Together, it does not function correctly. It only detects one controller, making local multiplayer impossible. There have been complaints about this issue since 2021, yet no real fixes have been implemented despite repeated assurances from the developers. I’ve spent hours trying to make it work. Yesterday, I wasted two hours setting up multiple controllers, only to find that the game still wouldn’t recognize them properly. As a workaround, I had to map two controllers to keyboard keys just to enable two-player split keyboard mode—but I bought this game to play with three players, which remains impossible. If you're looking for reliable multiplayer support or to be played on steamdeck... I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
