I'm about a few hours in, and I have to say I really enjoy this game, although there are some areas I feel could do with some polishing.
1. Ship Storage / Cargo Management - the loading time breaks the seamless gameplay, is there a way to remove loading time? Also, a huge quality of life improvement would be to have more detailed mouse-overs on items. I can't tell how many credits I'm looting, what is the level of the laser weapon, etc etc.
2. Auto-eat / Auto-sleep: a threshold before a crewmember (not in combat) will go to eat / sleep on their own would be extremely appreciated.
3. Starmap improvements - currently you can only select "dock" or "jump" in the starmap, can we get a "go to target" for asteroids? I keep having to manually select the go-to target on the main ship view and it's really hard for clustered targets.

This seems to be a simple version of the bomber crew.
Those others i wanted to play but died to much which caused frustration.
This on the other hand i am finding enjoyment. So far so Good .
So great for those who like to relax and take in the game.

Fun, silly game. Good time waster, but very buggy.
- A gun turret that couldn't be repaired, it wasn't on fire, it didn't need a part, if i sent a crew member, they just stood there and it wouldn't repair. I ended up just moving my gun to another turret and there was a big red exclamation above the damaged turret the whole time. It went away with a new ship.
- A similar thing happened to the helm and I had to go back a couple of saves to get rid of that.
- Characters getting stuck fixing an item and then unable to get out.
- Docked onto a ship that then exploded and the ship wouldn't navigate after that, unable to lock onto the jump gate, and the ship would keep turning away from the direction i tried to point it.
Most things can be resolved by quitting out of the game completely and restarting it and loading it up again. If you like it save lots. It seems to get buggier the more you play it. It ran fine for a couple of hours, then it started to bug out. I'm not smart enough to give more of a bug report than that. If you want to know what sort of computer I've got, it's a black one.
A few more space critters would be nice to kill. So far every ship I have boarded has had cookie cutters or the bigger ones, but that's it.

It's gotten much better with the first main patch after release. Have been doing much better this run. I had to think of some things to make living easier.
As got much further through it... Is it a little buggy, yeah, but save before each step and have multiple saves. All things aside it was fun and I even have a few favorite ships.

I personally thought the game wasnt very fun. The tuturial was pretty brutal in terms of being boring. Prolly not gonna play this one anymore but I'm not gonna refund for two reasons:
1) It's not THAT bad. There's potentially some Quality of life improvements that could, in theory, make this at least ok for a night or two. Someday?
2) I purchased the game at a reasonable enough price that I felt the risk of trying it was worth it. It's an indy game. If it was a 2k or EA release... different story.
I could go on at length but it would just be mean. The game desperately needs a lot of help and bug fixes. For one, the game prompted me to use "X and Y" buttons incorrectly... which caused me frustration as I figured out the games wacky controls. It needs tons of stuff... especially better time manipulation controls on the fly. But def another sweep for bug fixes and problems.
Its kind of tedious and boring when it's not frustrating and overwhelming. None of it is inherently bad but none of it was fun at all. For me. Your mileage may vary.
