One of the best hex wargames I've ever played. It just 'feels' right. For me, it's the perfect amount of simple yet complex with added mechanics such as logistics, core units, diplomacy, research (if enabled) and more.
I actually put off buying this for a good while and regretting it as I've missed out. Some of the scenarios are basically an entire theatre of war while other smaller, more specific scenarios can be done in under an hour.
Currently playing the Germany 1941 East Campaign and it's been a blast so far. The AI is definitely good enough if single player is your thing which is often a gripe for me in wargames.
All in all, if you're not after one of the uber complex wargames and want something more accessible but huge amounts of fun then just buy it.

I remember this board game World in Flames which I was really interested in, but didn´t really deep dive into. This game is like it and I´m having so much fun, I´m playing multiplayer co-op with my brother and single player campaign. Well recommended! Well worht the price!
