It's Shiren the Wanderer but as an indie game. Pretty good for what it is but definitely rough around the edges at times.
With all the potential the game has and how enjoyable it was to play, it's a shame it only has 3 levels and seems unfinished. I was told that the game was still in development, but even so, the last update was over 2 years ago.
Recommend it? Yes, but I'd wait for a sale due to the state the game's in in terms of length.

Really enjoyable I've had a hard time finding a Mystery Dungeon that doesn't have frustrating UI, Legion's Crawl is smooth and fast to play. I wish it had more shortcut keys so it could be played entirely with keyboard

It's a fun little roguelike that's easy to pick up and easy to play. Plays very "fast" despite being turn-based because of how loot is strewn about everywhere so you're relatively quick to gear up and you can only hold so many consumables so you're incentivized to use them regularly to make room. There is also an optional meta-progression system in place that allows those who're newer to roguelikes to start future runs stronger so there's a little something for everyone here. Again the meta-progression system is completely optional--it is more than possible to beat each dungeon without starting upgrades.
In some areas this game has that "very indie" "rough around the edges" feel. Like when you do beat the third and final dungeon where you might expect an ending-ending of some kind there really isn't--the last boss just says a few things and then back to base very abruptly.
On the other hand the game has a lot of charm and thought put into it you might not expect at a glance either. Like there's this little hopping bag, thief, enemy that steals your gold and then runs off. One time I didn't catch him and not only did it beeline to the dungeon shop, it used my gold to buy gear, it's sprite changed to be fully armored, it started beating on me, and nearly won. That's the touch of a dev who cares about their work.
Someone looking for a more traditional roguelike experience might enjoy the first Legion's Crawl a bit more, but I think this game has a certain charm about it.
