Got my money back. Horribly made, and my expectations for TD games are not high.
TL;DR™ Volume 4
Don't be fooled by the screenshots. Tower Blitz isn't charming at all - it's awful. Sincerely one of the worst TD games I've played, on any platform, ever. maps load up uncentered, so you have to scroll them across the screen, there's no explanation of the towers or the strengths and weaknesses of the units, and the first three levels only give you one hitpoint for some reason. Some units are animated, some aren't, some have their animation freeze (bats). If you finally make it to the fourth level, after defeating the first 'boss' in the game on map three, it hasn't even been given a name! On the selection screen it says something along the lines of "Level name, Level description". Finally, all of the achievements unlocked at once upon closing the game. Basic, unfun, and still wouldn't recommend if it was free.

I usually try to at least finish a cheap tower defence game before reviewing, but this is pretty bad. Only one enemy is properly animated the others are just static images that wobble back and forth like a kid playing with paper people making them walk. The UI is incredibly blurry. The gameplay is painfully boring and slow and there's no way to speed it up. And you can scroll up or down and see beyond the actual level backgrounds, there's this weird green box with a red arrow pointing up on the bottom and red arrow pointing down on the top in like level 3. It's bizarre. It's just not good. I'd say it's a poor man's Kingdom Rush, but I think that does a disservice to poor man's Kingdom Rush games because some of them can be pretty decent. This, even for how cheap it is, doesn't feel like it's actually a finished product.
