Worst Voice Acting Ever... of All Time XD
That aside, this is a solid indie horror title. Good story (there is a 4th wall break for budget reasons, and the Dev has the main character be very blunt about it which was great lol), but controls are good, the game has some genuinely creepy moments and I adore the decrepit school. Gave me a bit of a 'Corpse Party' vibe truth be told.
All in all, it was fun and I recommend at least one one play threw.... just mind the Voice Acting...

This is not a terrible game, but it does some things badly which becomes frustrating and some things seem unfinished.
Let's start with the good though. The music and ambient sound are all quite good. The graphics are good for the most part. The main character is a bit too lo-fi compared to the environments but I'll give the creator big props for actually animating her completely and not have flying objects held by invisible hands like most indie games.
And now for the bad. The voice acting seems like placeholder, and if I haven't misunderstood this had a failed attempt at crowdfunding so it probably was meant to be just that. The game world is not huge by any means, but it is a bit too big for the kind of pixel hunting you have to do at times leading to a lot of backtracking, this could have been avoided if interactable objects stood out a bit more. Another thing is when you see some bolts that are clearly meant to stand out and you know where there's a wrench but you can't pick it up because you haven't hit some arbitrary point in the story... Please just don't do this kind of stuff, it is always really frustrating. Just don't show the wrench until the time is ready.

Just no, this was pretty awful. It ticks all the boxes of horrid throwaway Steam horror game.
The developer claimed this was a much improved version so I dread to think what the original one was like. There were such bad bugs in this. In the first encounter with the main monster I fell through the floor and into the level geometry about 3 times. And then towards the end the game broke to the point where it wouldn't save anymore. Thankfully I had a save just prior to this so I was able to just push through. Though I then did clip through the environment again just before the end and had to reload, again.
It took about an hour and a half to complete, and would have been far shorter without the bugs, though honestly the short runtime was a mercy. And it just wasn't clear what you were supposed to be doing at all time, so you end up spending most of your time in-game just wandering around the same corridors again and again, hoping the next bit of story will trigger.
And the worst crime of all, it just wasn't scary. It's compounds the lack of scares by chaining the game to a chaotic, nonsensical storyline which gets washed away at the end as it's
all a dream, at least that's what I gathered when after the climax of the story when you've been horribly disfigured by having your arm axed off, you wake to find it still there
.
Avoid at all costs.

The game was ok, the problem is that if you've played 1 or 3 of this genre of game you can really feel the same notes at times. This game is really really notey which was not good.

Another quite short walking simulator that is supposed to be horror like...
Not to heavy on the jumpscares, that's the only pro I can think of. For some reason this game has a pretty long intro that does not make much sense. Also good luck trying to find items you need, I wandered around for about 30 minutes in a rather small school area before finding a trigger that started the next sequence of the game.
Also, the "voice acting?" is terrible... It sounds like a 5 year old talking and it gets irritating after a few minutes into the game.
Graphically there is some kind of blur on the screen, it just does not look that good.
Well, I got this on a cheap discount. But even then it's not really worth playing...

A game more than correct, to which the developers have put a lot of love in it, and that shows in that, for example, they have created 2 maps with their "stories" just to make the introduction, the game really starts at the school that is well recreated, but those details show the love for videogames and must be appreciated.
The game itself is psychological horror, good graphics, the story is interesting but I would have liked to see this story in another place and characters. The music is great.
The game is simple but enjoyable and I think this team deserves our support to make more games. For the current price I recommend it
PS: Where can I find the music of the game? I love the song of the credits

I was blown away by the difference in quality between the first iteration of this game a while ago (which I'd refunded) and the new one (ended up buying it again after I saw some better reviews recently). While I sort of miss all the hilarious old stuff (the voice acting with the swearing girl, the one-legged walk, lol), it was great to see a dev responding to criticism positively and having enough good faith in their own product. This was improved by a mile. Much, MUCH better gameplay/buildup/atmosphere. A terrifying new monster (baby-face mutant tappy toes is scary AF) and just an overall better game experience.
My only concern being what happened to poor Inspector Gadget in the introductory cutscene, lol.
Awesome update!

The Turd, not the Trud.
You walk around Grullophobia's school while picking up keys and witnessing a few jumpscares.
At a certain point Er Boia will wi-fi kill you and then turn into a pool of sterco. After that you pick up a nail gun that you don't even use, so the games gives you an EH VOLEEEEEVIH! It's disgusting.

Update: the dev has updated the game since my previous review and it's much better. Now the movement is smoother and faster and the game flows better. I enjoyed my second playthrough. Below is my old review from long ago.
Cons:
- It is absurdly overpriced.
- 99.9% of the things you do in the game are walking. And the walking is buggy as hell. They might fix it later, but at release it's pretty bad. If you turn while walking it feels like you bump into invisible walls all the time or maybe the character is tripping over her own feet because the game stops you from moving forward for about 0.1sec. Feels very wonky and at some point teaches you to never look around and just look forward to avoid the glitchy walking.
- You are *slow*. And it is very painful. It makes the game super boring because if you haven't found a key item nothing happens and you just walk *slowly* around, looking for what you've missed.
- Just ~2 hours long (and mostly just because you move so slowly).
- The walk animation is just the left leg going forward. Right leg never goes forward. It's strange, like you're limping though that's never explained.
- They make you walk the same level about 10 times if you never have to backtrack and never miss anything. If you miss stuff you can keep going in circles with no progress which is super annoying with the slow walk. That just makes the game feel cheap.
- Ending is a big letdown.
Pros:
- The first half of the first cinematic is unironically good although it has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the game. It has good lighting, good camera work, even decent modelling.
- Atmosphere is good. Sometimes even a bit scary.
- The voice acting is literally the worst voice acting I have ever heard in my life and I absolutely *LOVE* it for it. I genuinely enjoyed it.
- Most of the time it's clear what you're supposed to do even if it is a bit vague as to how to do it.
- There are a couple of neat ideas in the game which felt fresh and original.
Summary:
If you are bored out of your mind and are craving a quick horror game, this one's ok. I highly recommend using a walkthrough though as like I stated before you walk *really* slowly and you *really* don't want to miss key items because that'd mean you have to slowly go back again.
