Fun little lunar lander game. You have to maneuver your ship and crates through low-gravity environments where fuel efficiency and planning are more important than speed. Pretty relaxing, but it's definitely not a twitch-reflexes kind of game.

I was specifically searching for a game like this, something lunar lander like with something extra.
It's not what I hoped it would be, but it is still a very fun game!
But beware, it may be just me, but this game is really really hard!
I think it was level 8 that frustrated me terribly, it was the first level I really had trouble with and I almost abandoned the game because of it. But I guess level 8 prepared me for what came next because after that level, I went straight to level 11 (at which time I felt I'd played enough for today)

I found this game while searching for the NES classic Solar Jetman. This was one of the many games I played to completion as a child. Rocket Shipment is the first game I completed as an adult, and I thoroughly enjoyed every victory and even many failures (e.g., where the collision of objects produced a surprising effect, resulting in what you might call a glorious failure). I loved this game!
The game has an excellent soundtrack that plays throughout the menus and while playing. In addition to 35 levels, the game offers the option to create and share your own levels. (I found this feature intuitive and easy to use.) Using the game's workshop, I found great contributions of custom levels by the community (for example, the top rated levels: 00101 and bleh3).

The boxes can only be grabed by the edge, and there is a map deep down in the levels where you are GUARANTIED damage even tho the game is encouraging a score attack.
It is a frustrating game not a challanging one with clearly deliberate design choices to make it so. Also the tanks are the biggest glaring showcase of badly programming the game by default, as with disabled turret, turned completely upside down they can still move left and right and damage you, boxes, or flat out plug entrances, and fuel boxes are unable to hold them back, they can push it.
You may think, well just avoid right? well the game specifically tells you could disable them. No you can hidner them at best.
Bad programming, bad design, and frustrating gameplay instead of challanging.

Still early access so needs more levels. Maybe a meta story. But a GREAT game so far. Very much a lunar lander physics game. I have enjoyed playing it. Exactly the type of thing I was looking for.

I'm simply giving this game a thumbs up to encourage the dev to finish this game. He/she is onto a good concept here and this deserves to be completed and out of EA.
Since it is still in EA I will offer some constructive criticism:
I'd like to see a better damage system. What's there doesn't feel right to me, when you get hit you lose control of your....ship? cursor? whatever it is, it's inactive while it floats away for a few seconds, often into a worse spot than where you took the hit, and you lose what reads as a life at the top of the screen. I think that needs some tuning.
And some artistic style would help a lot. It doesn't need to be everywhere, but I'd like to see something somewhere. I don't mind the graphics, but it needs something. Take another look at Solar Jetman, it was very similar but injected some flair in the cut scenes, objects, and the ship had some personality, simple as it was.
Hoping to see this great idea finished soon, good luck!

Having a great time playing. A simple game but it's deceptively difficult!

Rocket Shipment is relatively simple, and yet pleasantly addicting. I've also not seen any other games quite like it on Steam.
The goal is to fly your ship around inside of a cavernous asteroid and move cargo to a landing zone. Sometimes you have to move multiple cargo, each to a specific destination indicated by the color of the cargo and the flags around the landing zones. You start by navigating your ship close to a cargo container, and when you are close enough the container turns green to indicate that you can grab it by deploying your cable. Then you must then tow the cargo to its destination. After you drop the cargo on the landing zone (and the cargo is confirmed to be "delivered"), you must land your ship on the grey landing zone.
There is one obvious catch: your ship has a finite amount of fuel, which is burned whenever you accelerate (typically) against the invisible gravity field, which originates somewhere below the bottom of the screen. Your ship can refuel by hovering over one of several scattered fuel pods and retracting your cable to siphon up fuel.
There are other elements introduced in later levels which I won't touch on now (for space reasons, and also not to spoil anything). But the game is challenging in that way that keeps you wanting to try again after you crash. Thankfully, the developer recently introduced a towing sensitivity slider that lets the user simulate cargo that has less mass, and that is therefore easier to tow around. On the default setting, it's very easy to get into a situation where your ship and the cargo are moving with a sort of unruly and nearly uncontrollable momentum due to way you have to fly your ship (around some corner or to avoid a moving obstacle). Because of this, I recommend new users lower the sensitivity slider ALL the way and start there. If it's not challenging enough, you can always bump it up to simulate heavier cargo.
The game even includes a map editor, allowing motivated users to create their own levels. However, I haven't tried it yet since I'm still working through the stock levels.
I found the game to be very playable with a game pad. I tested it with a PS4/DualShock4 controller with no problem. Mapping the buttons from within the game was easy. Once you set the mappings, you can even navigate through the menu screens with the controller.
The ambiance given by the music is probably the most pleasantly surprising thing about the game. It's somewhere between trance-y and relaxing. The music tracks seem to fade out and start again at random, usually after a short period of silence, but I think this was an intentional artistic choice and oddly does not detract from the experience.
Considering its simple mechanics, challenging scenarios, customizable settings and controls, map editor, great music, and the myriad of level obstacles and gameplay elements, this unique game is definitely worth a try, and definitely worth the price.

It's a good game which I'm happy to have bought.
It's all about mastering the physics of your spaceship while also managing the momentum + angular velocity of objects that you're tasked with towing to a designated area. Sounds simple, and it is, but there's a lot of fun in getting good at the mechanics and trying to beat levels with the shortest time / highest score / without dying. By default, though, you get 5 lives per level which makes it pretty reasonable to complete everything if your goal is to get through the game.
Which really brings me to the only negative part of the game for me. There are only 20 levels available at the moment, with levels taking under ten minutes to beat. Like I said I personally like replaying levels to get good times on them, so for me it isn't such a big deal, but it is something to be aware of. There is a level editor bundled with the game so there's a chance we get some community made levels at some point. The dev has said that there are more levels on the way, too.
Which is another thing -- the dev is friendly and responsive to feedback. The game runs well and has a simple but challenging mechanic to master. I think people should give it a shot.

This game reminds me so much of crazy gravity, a game I played quite a bit way back I couldn't help but get it. It already has a good bit of polish and love already put in it, and I'm sure more will come since it's only in early access.
