Bought this game yesterday and it only saved the first hour of game play, i lost several hours even though I saved. It was also on auto save every 15 min.

i cant recommend this game at this time.
the AI doesn't work/ is terrible when it does. your hunger and thirst drop almost literally as fast as you can eat. while playing the game hitting esc for me would exit fullscreen. while playing multiplayer the friend i was playing with had all kinds of issues in his menus, like not being able to start the campfire. all in all i know this game was released a month ago but in its current state i cant say its a good experience. i understand that its early access but at the very least the hunger and thirst need to be adressed so that i can get out of view of my campfire before im hungry, and the AI needs to do more than stop in its tracks after being hit with a hatchet.

I will update this review as I play more but for those others considering this fresh off the mint new early access game, this game is playable and interesting so far. I have bumped into a few minor bugs (to be expected in a new EA game) but they are not game breaking. The graphics are nice, there are things to do and items to find. I have encountered several different creatures so far, some of which killed me already, explored different ruins and found different treasures. I have pulled up the build wheel but have not started a build yet, but it looks like there is sufficient content to start it. In short, for those who buy early knowing that they are helping a developer with their project, this game is worth considering. It has more content than many other EA survival games that I have purchased (including a few that have been around for a while).
