I am very happy to be able to play this game as it’s been a part of my teenage years.
Roko-Loko into Ratozinger's Castle is a platform game that mirrors the origins of platform games, with the great advantage of being a game aimed to please an older sort of audience: that of lovers of rock music.
The art of cartoonist Marcio Baraldi is very popular amongst Brazilian headbangers and he is regarded as one of the greatest underground artists in the country.
Roko-Loko into Ratozinger's Castle is a very difficult game to master, especially from the second stage onwards. The stages are labyrinths in which we end up lost every now and then.
The graphics are quite pixelated but I understand that, since it is a 15 year-old game, so it should be expected. It reminds me a lot of arcade game emulators, both SNES and Genesis.
If you like the magic and nostalgic appeal of old-fashioned games, you will like it a lot.
If you are looking for modern platform games, be sure to stay away from it.
