This is a premium form of audacity. I use it for taking samples from game clips that I record for the sake of memes and making music. I bought it for roughly $20 on sale just so I can have this audio trimming software on the go.

I like this app more than Audacity. It has all the features I need, performs well on my PC, can detect all my hardware, and even integrates with Vegas and Windows Explorer.

Very useful and powerful audio editor. You can open mp3 or wav file, you can see audio waves, add effects like fade in, fade out, echo etc.
Sound Forge Audio studio is simplified and much cheaper version of Sound Forge Pro, but even this simplified version contains all effects I can imagine for my home projects. I am actually doing quite simple things - I always use two channels only (left and right), I often join more audio files, I delete or copy audio fragments (even very precise fragment deleting without hearing any skip), I do some fade in, fade outs, sometimes I use some effect on whole audio file or I mute some fragment.

Well .. it seems this version is a way too crippled version of the PRO.
It doesn't carry izotope 9 ( at least I didn't find it), as shown on the teaser video at 0:45 sec .
Even a simple task as recording a good audio from a mic is hard, as in everyday houses we have background noise that needs to be removed ( pc fans overall).
Audacity ( free audio editor) does it quite well.
While SF 14 Steam edition has "lost" a good noise remover by Sony. The Audio restoration menu just does... nothing useful.
I didn't find also a way to see a spectral view of my audio recording ( to measure in some way which frequencies contain more noise). Again... 20 year old cheap software or actual open source Audacity works fine in the task.
I'm much disappointed.

This is the worst thing in the industry. I used it once, it worked well enough. But now it refuses to stop running and refuses to uninstall, the reason for that being its still running somewhere. But where? I don't know. This Application is either a scam or something more illegal. DO NOT GET THIS.

The new "Quick FX" seem to be only on the desktop but not on the steam version
Maybe they are crazy hidden but I can't find them anywhere.
Also for editing sounds this is extremely limited as I can not layer sounds on extra channels and then export them as stereo or mono.
There is a maximum of 6 channels, but then you have to export a 5.1 sound as well - you can not just export as stereo like in audacity with unlimited channels to work with, making it essentially unusable for me. This is the equivalent of working on 1 Layer in photoshop. Otherwise it seems easy to use. If quick FX were there and it had multi channel support It could be very good.
