I can´t recommend this as a PC game, I would recommend as a mobile game. This is more like a time waster. Plastris is a good example of quantity over quality. There are almost 200 puzzles that offer no challenge (with a couple of exceptions), 90% of the puzzles do not require any thinking nor resets. A couple of them will require a few resets, and 1 or 2 will drive you mad for a bit. The puzzles do not seem handcrafted, I think they´re generated by an algorithm. The achievements are lame, every level you complete up to level 40 is an achievement, and that is it. The music is a bit annoying. The graphics are ok and as you complete puzzles the background color changes between seasons it seems. It is just an illusion of variety as the puzzles mechanics remain unchanged.

WARNING!!! Don't let this game fool u on beautiful particle effects, style that game was made in and the soundtrack (good work on that, especially on crystal level), because it gets way harder during playthrough) And btw I finished this game before it was launched on Steam, because I was making a trailer for it, thats why I have only 30 minutes of gameplay

I like the art style, it gets a little more challenging after 100 levels and is a satisfying play. I hope the profile features get unlimited soon (:

Part of the reason I got this game was so I could display the achievements on my profile, since they are letters that can be arranged, unfortunately, due to the limitations of profile features I am unable to do such a thing. The game's a good way to kill time though.

cute little puzzle game, puzzles are short and sweet, takes no time at all to get to puzzles 50+ but they do get a bit repetitive

Simple puzzle game where you need to fill the board by adding or removing shapes. Visuals are nice, it changes between the seasons together with the music. A bit too repetitive and easy, but might be worth for an hour or two.

In the first 11 minutes I configured the graphics settings, adjusted audio, completed 50 levels and gathered all of the achievements. It feels a bit like achievement spam at the start (earning one for each of the first 40 levels), with the puzzles being really simple/intuitive. Less than 30 minutes in I completed 100 levels finding 2 required any planning at all. It was only after more than half of the puzzles were completed that real thought was required to solve many levels. And many times it was just discovering the one true way required to solve it. Still, it is an interesting puzzle game for a decent price. Plastris is a 2d Minimalist Puzzle Game where you click to add and remove blocks until you have successfully filled one of many different grids. Beat it using a mouse in about 2 hours taking my time. I'm sure I could beat this in less than half that time or better if I rushed it. Difficulty is moderately easy. Good Points: - Figuring out the main controls is easy. - There are 195 levels to choose from. If you get stuck, you can just go to the next level and come back if you want to 100% everything. - The music is catchy, and the grids change colors seasonally every few levels. - It's remarkable how quickly you can scoop up all the achievements in this game. Bad Points: - While the main controls are easy, the 'main menu' button is called 'pause', and the other key commands like resetting the grids and backing up are given weird letters. I hit Backspace more than once when I was supposed to hit R, for example. It'd be nice if there was a way to change these buttons. Since the game is so short, I don't see this as a game-breaking problem. - The achievements spam you. There are, what, 40 of them? You get them all in the first few levels, which are very easy to beat. After you collect the set (In less than 30 minutes), you get nothing for the other 155 levels. - Why stop at 195 levels? Why not go for 200? =P In summary, Plastris is a fun, casual, puzzley romp if you need to chill out and want to play a quick game. I honestly feel it'd be wrong to dislike this little venture. If you need to kill some time or loosen up, there's no harm in this one. Play away.

Good small puzzle game. First 100 levels are very fast, and all achievements are from completing the first 40 very easy levels. Fairly easy to 100%.

plastris is a simple puzzle game where you're given a shape made of '+' signs and the goal is to cover every tile on the level with it. right click switches to a different shape made of '-' signs in case you need to clear tiles to make way for the other shape. the challenge is figuring out what to place or remove and where and how. there is no move limit or timer. in a made-up example the level is 3x3 tiles, you have a '+' sign that's 2 tiles tall, so you can cover the first two lines, then switch to the other shape, which is a single '-' in this case, so clear the second line one by one, then place three more of the '+' shape to cover both remaining lines and you're done. shapes come in all, well, shapes and sizes, and '+' can only go on clear tiles and '-' can only clear occupied tiles, but most of the 195 levels are easy, take about 2 hours to complete, with a few trickier ones towards the end. all of them are unlocked from the start, no need to get bogged down with one, and there's no huge difficulty increase as levels fly by either. great presentation with several themes, both graphically and musically. levels can be purple, snowy or deserty, and it's somewhat randomized. it'll swith to another one after every few levels, but keep reloading the same level and it will get a different theme eventually. can be a bit confusing, one minute you're looking at purple rocks, the next it gives you cacti, but it didn't bother me. all the basic necessities are available: volume settings, windowed mode, resolution options, unlimited undo, mouse controls and hotkeys. two noticable issues are volume settings only taking effect after leaving the settings menu, and hotkeys are unintuitive and can't be rebound ('p' is back to main menu, 'r' is undo, 'q' is restart and 's' is skip level), but it's a mouse-driven game, so it wasn't a huge problem, just a bit weird. 40 achievements are awarded for doing 40 levels, so they will be annoyingly spammy in the first 15-20 minutes, then nothing ever again. it'd be better if they were spread out, every 5 levels or so, though people playing games won't care and those who play steam instead of games will be happy they don't actually have to play more than a few minutes to '100%' this by playing 20% of it... if you only play hard puzzlers, skip this one, but otherwise it's definitely recommended, looks nice, plays well, costs almost nothing.
