The game is fantastic, though it does have a few flaws, mostly due to some odd bugs affecting enemy behavior and interactions with the world. That said, I haven't encountered anything game-breaking, and overall, it's still a great experience. The game strongly reminds me of Commandos. If you're a fan of those types of games, this one is definitely worth checking out.

scrolling the map sucks, no rebinding, edge scroll freaks out at the bottom and the right of the screen and the arrow keys somethimes don't react

This is not a good game, by any stretch of the imagination.
Really wanted to like it...
The premise is good, the return to the "Commandos" formula is really promising and the gameplay is good enough. Where it falls flat is the technical implementation - horrible performance that ruins the experience. Also the maps are quite repetitive and with a very dull palette.

Absolutely sauceless gameplay. Left click controls everything, kill enemies feels unsatisfying and has no feedback, the stealth system is finnicky and full of random actions that will instantly reveal all of your team, and the "campaign layer" where you corral your supplies and manage food has absolutely no strategy behind it, influencing your tactical gameplay almost none. Inventory management is there, I guess. Mostly useless, and has no tools to make it more bearable. A boring game that I kept hoping would get better.

I found that the levels don't really challenge you to try different approaches and I ended up using the same characters. In all but one level you are forced to use the leader of the group. It would have been much better to allow you to use any character most anytime. The main issue that I have is how unpolished this game is. I found numerous bugs and making for a frustrating experience. Also the UI has usability issues. Managing inventory and comparing items is not great. Also during game play it is left click to select and move characters. A right click to select and left click to move would be better as I found myself clicking on wrong things. The game automatically puts you into sneak mode when an enemy might be able to spot you. Even if they are on the opposite side of the wall. I don't like this and would rather move as fast as I want when I want. Speaking of moving fast, often times when I would double click to run the character would not run. Art and music are okay. Nothing really pops about it in terms of eye or ear candy. I somewhat understand

Fun game but it keeps freezing. And not the freezing where you can end the task or close the window. Nope, hard hold the power button down freeze. I check the discussion, others have the same issue with no response.

Solid "commando-like" game with fantastic narrative and amazing gameplay! just have to mention couple cons for developers: - very hard to click "loot" option and "pick the body" -Glitchy interface -confusing base menu (also lagging) but overall, its fantastic game. To Victory! С Днём Победы!

Partisans 1941 is an underrated gem for real-time tactics lovers. Engaging story, great characters (each with unique abilities), and plenty of ways to approach missions — whether you love going full stealth or guns blazing. I personally went for stealth: quick kills, knives, and lots of mines. Super satisfying. You'll need to think before acting — enemy patrols are sharp. Planning is everything. I’d recommend it even to those new to the genre — it’s accessible, but still offers a solid challenge. Minor bugs here and there, but nothing game-breaking. Pro tip: save a lot, especially before risky moves. You’ll thank me later. Only downside? No Italian translation after 5 years. I’m Italian and I can manage English, but it’s a shame others might miss out for such a simple reason. Definitely a 9/10: would sneak through the forest and knife a Nazi again ;)
