here's what i like about the game its tough, you have unlimited ammo in sense you can just keep going back to get more. the zombies are tough as heck. things i was not keen on: one gun , area super dark so hard to see where certain doors are , like the amount of time during nights, but wish there were more types of defense. lurkers causing trouble place spikes down, something. graphics are pretty neat didn't expect lurkers to be super quick lol overall it's a fun little distraction. hoping to see if it gets improved on.

Okay... as is very obvious from the trailer, this is a quickly produced zombie shooter using the same very basic zombie assets over and over and over.
- There are good games that make use of zombie assets available on the asset store, and there are bad zombie asset games.

This game is just BAD. It's just a quickly produced and lazily made asset mash together. with ZERO care for fairness. Zombies will come at you even on the first night and attack your cabin with so many coming at the same time that it will be impossible to shoot them all before getting grabbed and killed from behind.
It doesn't seem to have any way to board up windows as you might expect to give you more time, which could help make a huge difference, especially if the zombies would attack the wood on the boarded up windows allowing you to hear the wood being stuck.
But again, why would the developer want to spend time making sure the game is actually fun and providing a way to board up windows and such when he can just throw in a random zombie spawn with his single asset zombie he bought and call it "done"? I mean imagine an indie developer actually giving a crap about what they produce and putting any real effort into a Steam game these days? Hahahaha, good joke Zaxtor!
In all seriousness, there IS such thing as a really fun, really well made zombie shooter much like this one but with actual care put into it here on Steam and it launched just a few weeks ago. You can spend less and get a zombie asset shooter that's actually a blast to play right here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1203560/Everyone_Dies/
To developer: Go buy Everyone Dies, play it, and learn how you can use zombie assets to make a fun, well made zombie game instead of this lazy pile of rubbish you just launched here man. I know my criticism is harsh and is hard to digest as this is your first title on Steam. I want you to use it to get better. I want you to show some actual "effort" and not just smash together purchased assets as quickly as you can and launch it ASAP! Digest this criticism, realize you need to work harder and make a fun game you yourself would enjoy playing, and MAKE THIS GAME BETTER! ...Add in a way from the start to board up windows. Maybe the player needs to pick up a hammer somewhere and find nails in a tool box before he can board up windows. Also put in checks so the game doesn't throw too many zombies at the cabin at the same time because that feels REALLY cheap. And seriously, go buy and play Everyone dies.. and see how much better that game is and that he's asking $4.99 and you are asking $7.99. Good luck. I will re-review this game if and when you put some updates out and some actual effort into your game.
Not recommended. A 25% is my first impressions score on launch day.

A great little game! The developer definitely had a vision and kept with it. A very creepy game with strange sounds, uncomfortable moments, and fun and scary jumpscares. There's not much by way of story - a lot is left to the imagination. Why does the hallway whisper? What happened in this house? Why are we here? Why are the zombies coming for us? Maybe a follow-up game will answer these questions!
The game is not perfect - no game is - but I definitely think the developer did very well with the game, in spite of the monster assets having come from a bargain bin. There are certainly things I think could be improved, but overall, I was impressed with this game being a one developer release.

This is a free roam FNAF style game. Graphics are great and scary as hell. I gets much harder past the first night. This is not a game like killing floor or everybody dies. It's not a run and gun wave survival. You feel completely helpless. If you love FNAF style games, you got to pick this up.
