If you take this as a tower defense type game, skip it. It would be much better to take it as a crosshair aiming training game. You will not go too far in game if you rely mostly on you hired defenders and depending on the speed chosen, time taken for each stage varies and it will be harder to aim as well

Pretty good game for what it is, could be a $5.00 game. After the 36 day hump, if you survive, it gets easier from there. Just save up for the flamethrower and all will be well.

Bought on spec for $1. Don't let the initial sparse graphics and early waves fool you, it ends up quite hectic from level 30. Interesting weapons and building upgrades. Would have liked a save point as it can go on for quite a while and takes a bit of time to the really interesting section.. Don't know that there is much replayability unless you are keen to refine your tactics and go up the leaderboard (which I was). More than got my money's worth.

AT A GLANCE: 3/5 Stars - Because I bought this game under a dollar I gave it an extra star. It is not a bad game to have in your collection, but there is just a few things that hinder this game from being a great game. If you can live with them then check this game out. GAME GENRE: Single Player, Tower Defense, Gore, Violent, Action, Shooter GAME DESCRIPTION: Release Date: Feb. 2020 - Tower defense game. Build and protect your home for as many days as you can. Upgrade defenses, weapons, and hire workers, and mercenaries. KID FRIENDLY: (First know that I am very strict on kid approved material. A game with a standard rating of "PG" I might rate "PG-13". These are my ratings and have nothing to do with standard ratings) I rate this "R". With so much gore and violence I cannot recommend for kids. ACHIEVEMENTS: 13 Achievements ranging from easy to time consuming TRADING CARDS: 0 Trading cards PROS: -Graphics -Great tower defense concept -Good amount of guns -Some really fun guns to use -Challenging CONS: -Hard to shoot moving attackers (less of an issue when obtaining better guns) -No warning as to when the day gets over (see gameplay) -Gets repetitive -The achievement "True Killer" ( See "Words for Developers") GAMEPLAY: Target acquisition is a little difficult with the mouse. When obtaining better guns this becomes less of an issue though. Not because the guns are more accurate, but because the guns have more ammo and cause more damage to the creatures. So you can afford a missed shot with a bigger gun. Also, no warning as to when the day gets over. If you are clicking the mouse to shoot, and the day comes to an end, you could click on an item and buy something that you don't want to buy (which has happened to me, frustrating). VISUAL EFFECTS: Graphics and details are really good AUDIO: Wind blowing, gunfire, and very little creature noises. No music. Very simple audio sounds. STORYLINE: No storyline. Only that the apocalypse happened and now you have to build your house and defend it from zombies, and creatures. REPLAY VALUE: After obtaining all the achievements, I don't want to play anymore. The last achievement took a lot out of me. PROBLEMS/ISSUES: None - No problems installing the game. No issues during start up. No game freezes, or unexpected quitting. WORDS FOR DEVELOPERS: I like the concept of this tower defense game, but the target acquisition needs a little work. Also, something needs to be put in place to prevent someone from accidentally buying something they don't want when the day ends. Finally, the biggest pain in the game is the achievement "True Killer". It took so long to achieve that I thought this achievement was just a crappy way for you to get me to play this game longer. If you want to keep this achievement in the game at least have the decency to add a kill counter on it. Because of this achievement, I am burnt out on this game and will never play it again.
