The 100% positive rating so far speaks for itself. I quite enjoyed this little puzzle game. The images look kind of like water colored images. They don't lend themselves too well to huge puzzle sizes sometimes, but you can choose any of a variety of puzzle sizes for each image. Overall well worth the price. Give it a try!
The only downside was some achievements were triggered when they should not be. They all did trigger, so for a hunter it won't be a problem, but the ones for gold medals popped up way too early.

This is not just about doing jigsaw puzzles because it has a heartwarming story attached to it. The story is about a man in search of his dead wife. He searches high and low for many years trying to find a way to bring her back. Finally when he reaches the last place he risks all and takes the plunge to find her. But will he....
As you put the pieces together over 18 puzzles the story unfolds revealing beautiful scenes. You can choose how many pieces you want ranging from 28-200+ pieces. You can select from 3 shape sizes for the pieces. You can set the difficulty range of the game too. So, there is much to do to get all the achievements.
In my opinion I found this game a delight to play.

Nice decent and relaxing puzzler. Quality is better than all the free jigsaw puzzlers.

+I like the continue button that leads you to the next puzzle. Almost every jigsaw puzzle game redirects back to the selection screen once a puzzle is completed. It's nice to just to the next puzzle again and again.
+The music is very charming <3
+Puzzle is saved when quitting and getting back at it.
+I like the story. I think it's cute, and it's fun to play a puzzle game with some light narrative.
+I like the dragging effect on the piece when using the hint button.
+There is a lot of customisation
+I like the different puzzle shapes, I think they are cool!
+The quality of the image for the puzzle is very good!
Observations and suggestions~~~
~While being on the finished screen of any puzzle, the music suddenly stopped after a while. It would be better is the music would loop or something instead of just stop.
~When beginning the 7th puzzle, the music goes from sweet and low to loud. I think it would be better to smooth out the music transition, not just cut one music and start the other one.
~When going to the gallery and clicking Download, I can't seem to get out of that mode back to the other images. When I press escape, I'm back to the main menu, but pressing Gallery again brings me back to the same image, not the image selection.
~When scrolling images that are not done yet, the blurry texture seems to pass over the background box. You can see it when the image is at the edge of the screen. This does not happen with done/colored images.
~It would be nice if the escape key would bring a pause menu to temporarily stop the timer when going afk.
~There is a bug when coming back to a saved puzzle, the pieces doesn't move. I need to reset the puzzle to be able to continue. Even the shuffle button does nothing.
~There is a bug when completing puzzle 9, the achievement "GOLD x18" pops up. It's not even possible since I'm only at puzzle 9 and I haven't re-done any of the puzzle yet.
~There is a typo in puzzle 16 intro "The elders didn't specify didn't specify"
~When beginning a new image, the timer was hidden. When showing it in the option, it appears to be at 18 minutes already when I'm just starting this puzzle. There is a bug with the timer.
~I found the background to be sometimes distracting, because it has the same color has the puzzle to solve. It can be hard to see the pieces to place.
Negatives---
-Annoying bell sound effect that seems to comes from an asset or something when placing pieces on the board. I eared this sound effect in so many puzzle game.. it's like a meme at this point. If you could create a custom sound effect it would be appreciated.
-I think the hint button should be removed. The maximum difficulty is not even that hard. (current maximum number of pieces is 220 and it took me about 17 minutes without hint or reference image to complete the puzzle #8)
-The game is a bit too short. 108 minutes to get all achievements. This is because achievement are award at any difficult meaning you can cheese the game at the lowest difficulty.
Conclusion
This game is quite well done and very enjoyable. It's such a breath of fresh air from the lower quality jigsaw puzzle game I have reviewed on Steam <3. At the moment there is a few bugs that need attending, but nothing to important that makes you not want to play. Also, I found that the game is very fun, but very short for achievement hunters: achievements are given for completing pictures at the lowest difficulty (28 pieces which take less than a minute to complete). Keep up the good word and may you have a lot of success with your nicely made game :)

I liked the way this game was presented. The choice to not have to rush through or have unrealistic achievements that cause stress to complete appealed to me. It was colourful, with a story to tell, if a bit bare bones. I liked the art work, options and the puzzle piece shape choices.
There needs to be a opacity slide for showing the picture in the background for the puzzle if chosen. I found that the background was too solid and interfered with puzzle placement. Not being able to tell where I had and had not placed puzzles at a glance was annoying especially when using the arrow shaped pieces.
I suggest anyone buying this game not to activate show picture in background.
The biggest issue for me was a incomplete ending or so I felt. There was more that could be said, which would have made the end more poignant.
That being said. I do recommend this game to any jigsaw fan.

I don't often write reviews but felt I needed to for this. I have played LOTS of Jigsaw games, in fact went on a very frustrating search for them not too long back and kept getting offered hentai jigsaw games. Really? How is anyone that patient for porn? Anyway...
I found this game completely unique in the genre as it is really a storybook cleverly disguised in jigsaw format. I have yet to encounter a jigsaw game w/ a story component. Match-3, yes, nonogram, mosaic, even solitaire, but they were minimal threads at best. This has a compelling story that is supported by beautiful paintings that make up the puzzles. And that word, compelling, is the key. When I get a new, good, game I am compelled to keep playing it. This has never been the case in jigsaw before this. After the first night playing I woke the next day and my first thought was to get back to it. I want to know how the story turns out! Each puzzle moves the narrative along and rewards with another snippet of the tale.
Now to the nuts and bolts of the actual game - it needs work. I have already purchased the second in the series and hope some things have been addressed. It does have options concerning display of pieces and size on the screen of the puzzle, nicely accomplished by the scroll wheel. However I am having to do this at the start of each puzzle. Once you set these things they should become the default. There is also a feature where getting close to a piece's position will click it into place. This should be optional. I don't really want that cheaty feeling help. I was thinking they needed to add a sound when a piece is properly placed and then realized there was one but it was so quiet in comparison to the music (which for the most part is also quite beautiful, if a little repetitive) that I hadn't heard it. So that could use a bump. The hint button is this big RED box in the bottom center of the screen. Considering the clean elegance of the rest of the design with it's cool toned blue color pallet this is odd and jarring. Also for whatever reason mine does not say hint. It's just a blank, red, rectangle. I found out by clicking it and later saw it on screen shots for the game.
So yes, I do recommend it if you enjoy jigsaws, and beautiful artwork and story in gaming is important to you. If you are just interested in a jigsaw game with lots of tools and modification and lots of puzzles this maybe isn't it. Oh, also, nice bonus - the paintings can be saved to your system once completed. One is currently my wallpaper.

My Jigsaw Adventures - Roads of Life is a jigsaw puzzle game with a storyline twist. Go through the story on normal mode in 1.5ish hours, 100%'d achievements in 3 hours. Played using a mouse. Difficulty is between easy and medium.
Let's face it, you're getting this game because you either 1. Really like jigsaw puzzles, or 2. Need to chill out. This game does its job in both categories really well. The story alongside the puzzles is one of fantasy and imagination, laid out in a children's book style with fun art by Bogdan Antoci.
- The puzzle pieces are fixed in place, meaning you don't have to turn them.
- There are multiple sizes and three styles of puzzle piece (standard puzzle, sharp edgy bits, and square), alongside 18 different puzzles. On top of THAT there's a normal chill mode and a challenge beat-the-clock mode. So yeah, the game is easily replayable.
- The story jumps from place to place and I'm a little confused about the ending, but there are more My Jigsaw Adventures games in the future so who knows where the story might go next, or if there's a new story altogether?!
- There's a dragon! A DRAGON!!!
- Music is as awesome as the art. Each puzzle has its own song.
- The art, once you beat the puzzles, can be downloaded off the gallery.
In summary, if you really dig puzzles, you're stressed to tatters by the world, or you're bored and want something to do, there is absolutely no harm in getting Roads of Life. It's completely worth the 5 buck price-tag and offers art, story, music, and flavor to the world.

A classique Jigsaw puzzle game with a few options such as the size (up to 220 pieces, which isn't a lot) and the type of pieces (classic, mosaic and arrows).
There is a small story to follow, the illustrations are related to the story but so little is touched regarding everything that it's easily forgettable as every places and people are limited to one or two of the 18 pictures and that's it.
I was gifted the second title of the series so we'll see if that meh point will get better in the future, who knows ?

Thumbs up! I didn’t like the framing story, but the jigsaw puzzles themselves are okay. I liked the artwork and the music. There are only 18 different pictures, but it’s possible to select the number of pieces and their shapes. There is no option to add extra pictures, but this is the first game in a series, so you can look at the other games if you like this one.
There are some timed achievements, but it doesn’t mention exactly how fast you need to solve a puzzle to get them. I’m not a big fan of timed achievements, but the timeframes were reasonable. I didn’t have any problems getting those achievements.

Relaxing and enjoyable puzzle game.
The story doesn't add a lot of depth, it's more of a framework for the series of puzzles. Nothing wrong with the overarching concept, just don't expect a story-rich game.
There are a limited, but very reasonable number of puzzles.
The puzzle (image) difficulty goes up a bit as you progress.
Puzzles come in five different sizes and three different puzzle piece shapes (traditional, square - everything is an edge piece! - and jagged).
My only complaint was that I had to click and drag puzzle pieces (not just click).
Worth buying if you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles on your computer. Relaxing entertainment that provides a break from busy days or busy games :)
