It used to be OK but as of this year I cannot recommend.
Every update, especially those setting up the new expansions, breaks the game. This wouldn't be an issue if the new expansions and packs wouldn't be coming every few weeks.
This is an unplayable mess.

What's the point of adding a bunch of crap to the game when you refuse to actually FIX stuff that's wrong with it? WHY are cows and llamas in the cottage living pack STILL getting stuck in peoples inventories?? yet you just released a new fairies pack. stop giving us shit till you fix everything that's wrong with the damn game. sorry if incoherent I'm pissed off.

i just redownloaded this game. Usually I love it but now its saying it cant open due to a "corrupt file" and wants me to download a $5 workshop add on. I am disappointed

$1,484.02 of Dlc half of which is stuff that should have been base game back when most of us bought the game.....anyway take free to play crumbs or dust off your flags but don't give them more money they clearly don't need it or deserve it

I love this game, but it can be extremely frustrating when it get's stuck in a loop of not being able to open. I check the files it's says it's fine. Then when I boot it up nothing happens. I check the files again suddenly one's missing. The process to fix it never finishes. I have to uninstall every time this happens and maybe I get to play for 3 days before I lose all my worlds, because I have to uninstall and reinstall so many times

Used to love this game. I do own all expansions up to Life and Death.
However this shit is so beyond broken that I spend more time working around issues, trying to find fixes and reporting bugs than I can actually play. I could write a book about all the ways this game is a lost cause.
If you value your own sanity, play something else.
