Honestly it’s fun for a bit. But given this game was made in 2014 and they still haven’t upgraded to better graphics and more engaging story lines. I would love to see a Sims 5 where we have more options in the worlds to build more and whatnot.

This game is a joke compared to Sims 2 & 3 and even 1. Really EA? 1420€ for all the dlc is a joke, items that should've been included in the packs are sold separately for 5€ EACH. Not to mention a garbage launcher and always online DRM. Play the superior Sims 2 (a 20 year old game btw when devs actually cared) instead of this inferior cash grab.

My first Sims game was SimCity, so I wanted to give this a try since its so popular. Gosh, I had absolutely no fun when I played this. Its so boring and to have any fun you need to pay for DLCs and/or other packages, just like in SimCity. Spend money = Have more fun.

I bought this game at full price (4 years ago, 40€) and the only thing I got was a small DLC. BTW, only play this game with mods or it's just too plain.

This is the greediest company in the world and im honestly so fucking sick of them releasing 30 packs a year while their game is basically unusable. Even with every single pack, it fucking sucks, it doesn't get any better because you realize you spent hundreds of dollars on a mediocre experience that doesn't even run smoothly half the time. They release packs after packs despite the fact a majority of the packs that already exist SUCK FUCKING ASS and add the bare minimum of what they promise. Why not spend a little effort on making the packs you already have halfway decent, huh? why not, instead of adding 25 kits with 10 items each, they could just add bathroom clutter to base game, instead of trying to suck their community of every single fucking dollar they have. We have a job pack btw, but now theyre adding 'businesses' and 'hobbies'. HOBBIES. YOU HAVE TO BUY HOBBIES IN A FUCKING LIFE SIMULATION GAME. you have to buy weather- you have to buy fucking FAMILY DYNAMICS all split up between like 3 fucking packs WHAT THE HELL?????

Let me start off by saying that I love this game, compared to the previous games, this one really hits all the buttons for what makes a good sims game and improves upon most of them... Sims 2 Xbox and Sims Bustin (Xbox) still have their own slots on the podium. But the reason I give this game a thumbs down now is to not only tell you that this game is over 10 years old now, but to also tell EA to do one of two things. A. Make a new Sims game entirely and not make it a micro-DLC hell pit worth over $1000. Or B. Kill the sims entirely or pass it onto someone who won't continue to milk a dying, shriveled up cow who is being milked for blood instead of the milk it started with. The game is soooo full of content that at times during major updates, it suffers from bloat and begins to cause bugs and issues to crop up that are never fixed or brushed under the rug through another micro-dlc for gerbals... yeah, they made a DLC for the Pets DLC. So, if you want to play the base game and a few of the DLCs. go ahead, but once you start getting deep, don't expect a refund when the game stops working due to having to load so much stuff.

Downgrade from the Sims 3. If you want a good sims game, Play the Sims 2 or 3.

Surprisingly buggy for how long it's been continuously updated.

The Idea that were willing to overlook that there is infinitely more content hidden behind $1200 dollars of micro transactions than in the actual game is pathetic. This game and it's publisher should be on a spit over the flames for this sad joke of a wallet draining vampire. The sims used to have so much life and character, now you have to dish out money any time you want something that should've been in the game to begin with. I get that people will comment on how it's free, but I paid full price for this game when it was still new, and now in its decrepit extended lifetime that $40 has been wasted. I really can't wait for EA to die so one of my favorite childhood games can stop having a greedy pig parade around in its skin on my homepage.

This is a great game to DOWNLOAD and play. With so many character options you can create any type of Sim, even a FIT GIRL! You can also REPACK your belongings and move a new lot anytime. This game is a TORRENT of nonstop fun that i would recommend INSTEAD of similar titles!
