Cats. We're cats. We're the cats. We prey at night, we stalk at night, we're the cats. I'm the giant cat that makes all the rules. Let's see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into.

Genuinely a fun RPG! Exploring is fun and the writing is enjoyable. The UI is as good as Persona 5's.

I love cats. I don't like dogs as much. Therefore, this game is perfect for a crazy cat lady like me. Jokes aside, Catlandia is a cute, silly, comical lil game that I've really enjoyed playing so far. The combat system is surprisingly good and well thought out, I've been getting South Park: Stick of Truth and Pokemon vibes honestly, the story and characters are both amusing and likeable, and it's well worth the price. The artstyle, music and sound effects are all adorable, too. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lot of fun playing this! The characters and their unique communication styles really amp up the humor in this game. The conversations had me laughing pretty hard, and all of the outfits you can acquire are hilarious and entertaining. For the price, it's worth the 4-5 hour journey, especially if you want something that's fun, wacky, and not overly complicated or difficult. Recommended for something fun to play after work over the course of 1-3 days.

This game frustrated me to the point that I had to refund it and write the first review that mentions the underlying issues, since It seems that every review so far focuses only on how cute the cats are. In combat, certain types of attack are more effective depending on the enemy. The way the game conveys this is by how much "wobbly" the enemy's health bar becomes while having an attack selected. So, when you click on one of your attacks, you have to wait for the game to cycle through every enemy one by one, wobbling their health bar for about 4 seconds per enemy. I rage-quit and refunded on my first three enemy fight, when I realized I had to select each of my three attacks and wait for the game to cycle through all enemies for each attack, in order for me to have complete information. I don't understand the decision to make the player wait by cycling the enemies one by one, instead of, for example, simply showing EVERY enemy's health bar wobliness at the same time when you select an attack. On a less important note, you can't view what skills a helmet grants before you buy it. You have to buy it, equip it one of your heroes, and only then you can see what skills it granted your hero, by going to another menu altogether. I like short cute indie games such as this, and I don't usually refund them, even if I don't end up liking them as much as I think I will. If you think you have enough patience to deal with the issues I mentioned, then go ahead and enjoy a short cute rpg about cats. My patience, unfortunately, ran out. With that said, I don't know if the devs are active anymore and if they have any patch plans, but I'm willing to give it another try if and when these issues are looked at.
