Even at two dollars I think it would be better time spent just staring at a wall.

It's a fun game! The graphics are smooth, just the fighting can get one sided. The only defending animation is a parry, unless I'm not hitting the right button lol. There is a shield with the "Sam" character but I can't use it :( and the parry is difficult to do consistently when the npc's just go ball blazing. An update to be able to use the shield or make the parry just a tad bit longer would be sweet. It's a fun game though I can't lie, great find.

A tragedy of a game. Poor hit detection, broken co-op mechanics that sometimes completely halt game progression, inconsistent combo animations, and brutally difficult combat for all the wrong reasons. It's unfair, it's tedious, and it ends on a cliffhanger. The RPG tag is also a lie.

Thanks for the price set very low. But the game is VERY DIFFICULT. On top of it, once all the lives are gone, I'm sent back to the very start. Once a game is very difficult, there comes the stress and it is not fun anymore.

I use CE, so, I liked this game: love the graphics, and the action.
The mouse buttons require rapid two clicks to function.
Got around it with Glovepie :
Gui, select button Output, Edit Manually, Function, Double Click, select same button as Input.
Voila, 1 click = MLB sword swings, MRB sword blocks.
When you get 1000 gold, killing enemies give you 1 heart.
Got some 15 or 16 hearts, the next appeared slimmed, then more hearts appear to the right, offscreen (1 barely seen).
How do I know ? When killed the on screen number of hearts didn't diminish, so was losing hearts off screen.
What would be most helpful: be able to restart a game with the last save (if exiting without losing all hearts).
Game tries to launch VR, no problem, close SteamVR, continue.
Game crashed at 2 or 3 different points, for example after jumping a series of ledges on 2 walls, but it could be my unholy stress testing of the engine.
Overall had and plan to have more fun, playing more of this.

First of all I don't really understand why this games reviews are mostly negative Although this game is a bit rough round the edge, it's still fun and it is obviously made by a very small team (or just one person) but still it has some solid platforming, the combat feels okay (Although very repetitive) Give the game a shot and support this dev so they can refine this game a bit more, also the fact that they have co op is awesome, more games need co op!

HELLO PEOPLE
About the Game is only 4 levels to complete The game... Really? REALLY....but is not finish it said continue
is a old school scrolling game like shadow of the beast or golden axe among other etc, the graphics are not bad as well the music medieval theme.
The game is difficult like the old days arcades , the menu don't have any explanation how to config keyboard . the key E is a special powers.
I don't know if I recommend this game for only 4 levels and not ending is unfinished....
my score is 5 out of 10 the concept of the idea is not bad can't complain about the price just need more work to be out there to play ., if you look something medieval theme try Trine.

Bought it for a buck, figured it can't really be that bad.
There's a cutscene at the start that can't be skipped. I tried hitting start(?) on my controller. The dev has a blur applied to the background, so I can't see the options in the pause menu. The cutscene isn't that long.
I get into the game and I'm liking it. Swinging my sword around, crushing stuff. You have 100hp but you have zero iframes. So, in the event that you're between an enemy and a wall or another wall, you're gonna die. Your regular combo is not fast enough, and your super moves are interruptable. Also! If you let two enemies get super close to each other, you're in for a bad time. You go to hit one, that one draws back, the other one hits you. Okay, fine, I just have to be careful.
So I go a little further to the swinging axes. Their hitboxes don't really exist. I just walked through them and touched them 2-3 times. If you manage to get hit by the axes, it's an instakill. Sure, fine, that's on me, I go a little further.
Another review mentions that if you die, you gotta go all the way back. Not even to the start of the first level. You gotta go back all the way to the first cutscene that you can't skip. Why not just put me back at the very start?
I eventually got to the part with the podium that crushes you. The hitbox for that is weird too. It's set to instakill you if you touch it from the side, even if it's in midair. Getting crushed by it and dying, sure, I get that. But from the side? Not letting me get close so I can make sure my timing is good? Nah.
To top it all off, you only get three lives, and you're back to square one.
Dying from two enemies stunlocking you feels terrible, especially if you were at max health. You get to watch your health fast travel to zero no matter what buttons you push to break out of it.
Didn't play this for very long since nothing felt good to me.

The loading screen is very slow and the enemy combat is terrible: the player simply cannot do anything.
