So i got this game in a bundle and on sale, and i played it for about an hour, i found it really addictive trying to beat the AI and all the fun modes this game has. I loved the crazy little characters and graphics were also enjoyable, the music was really relaxing too, so it was a very pleasant experience! I always loved playing air hockey so this was a must for me :) I would absolutely love this game if it had multiplayer so that i can play with my friends! As much as i can see the devs are still developing this game so i have high hopes for the final version! Get it guys, it's really a steal.

For $3.99 and being early access i think it was a good choice for me. To make it clear i desided to split my review in 3 categories: Graphic, Gameplay and Price. - 10/10 I must admit that graphics are pretty awesome and im very comfortable being on the sunny tropical island. - 8/10 The gameplay is quite good, game is working smooth on my 1060 GPU, but i miss some things like a scoreboard or multiplayer. - 10/10 In general the price is main thing for me when i get games. This game has a super cheap price if we consider what I got for that money.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/eHozr_ojDpo I really wanted to like this game. It seems like a silly air hockey game with different modes and it's only 4 bucks. It should be fun. And it is fun, when it works. However, that's the problem. I encountered several different issues during my little over an hour of gameplay. For those of you looking for an air hockey simulation game, this isn't it. It's definitely arcade. The table seems kind of small in VR and it has curved edges versus the hard edges professional air hockey tables would have. It honestly looks like a kid's mini air hockey table. You cannot hold the mallet the way a professional would. Instead, you just press trigger and your hand avatar model disappears and is replaced with the mallet. There are 5 different modes: standard, fun, crash, tournament, and pinball with three different difficulties: easy, medium, and hard. I really enjoyed the modifiers to the standard gameplay. In fun or tournament mode, your mallet can turn into a pineapple, or your goal can get bigger, or you can get obstructions on the table. Unfortunately, the core physics just don't seem right, at least to me. I've played other air hockey games and this game just doesn't compare to those, especially the air hockey in Sports Bar VR. Also, even for arcade, I would say that Shufflepuck Cantina is better (although it's Oculus only and uses a gamepad only). Plus I experienced several bugs as follows: the mallet gets stuck under the table, the puck gets behind the AI and stops and the AI doesn't move either, and finally the game becomes an endless mode where no matter what you score, the game keeps goings (instead of winning at 7 points). The game does look good. It runs smoothly for the most part at a steady 90fps (although I did experience sudden frame rate drops for like a second or two). It's in Early Access so all my issues have time to be addressed. It's only $4 bucks so you may be interested in supporting its development. However, as is, with all the errors I experienced, I cannot recommend this game. Rate 4.5/10.

+ Fun + Quirky + Cheap - Not much to do - Not great at this point 2.5/5 -----IF THIS COULD BE NEUTRAL IT WOULD BE----- This game is quite lacking at the moment, the hockey itself at times feels clunky, there's no multiplayer, it gets stale after a few minutes. And other games offer a similar or better experience and more than just one thing. This was a really nice little game, I'm only about an hour in and it was pretty fun. It's definitely in it's early stages but if the devs deliver on the full release notes it's gonna be a really cool game. If you like air hockey and some twists on the subject id recommend it. The pinball mode was the most fun for me. It would be really awesome to play this game in multiplayer with some global leader boards as well.

My wife is mostly uninterested in VR gaming, but somehow THIS was the game that got her hooked. It's honestly the best VR air hockey game I've found thus far, which is due to its fun factor and tropical setting. The pusher and pucks will change based on a special bonus coin that appears on the board. Sometimes pineapples or coconuts will pile onto the board as obstacles (at least in "fun" mode). There are normal modes as well if you prefer a more serious match (I don't). It's brilliantly simple and addictive. Seriously, this is one of my favorite VR games.

I cannot recommend this game in its current state. The graphics are cartoony and low res, yet I still experienced constant frame rate drops. The puck will sometimes completely stop moving right next to the AI opponent without the opponent moving to return the puck. And the puck will sometimes start moving very fast on its own. I would much rather play the air hockey table in Sports Bar VR.

A very good game that let you have some simple fun alone, what is missing is a MP option, but yet for the price is a very good game.

This is going to be an awesome game....I just know it. All the Dev needs to do is fix the physics. The controls are fine for the HTC Vive. Please fix the physics. Currently, the puck only bounces off the walls once, then it tends to stick to the sides, and just follow the wall. The puck needs to bounce more off of the walls. Fix this, and it will be golden.
