The Twins Reviews

The Twins can be classified as a psychological and atmospheric horror game. However... This isn't a game... Remember all of the urban legends from your childhood? Imagine if it was all real, but we just weren't performing the right rituals to summon these beings from another realm... Well, now you can...

This game is Set in the same story as the summoning. I liked this one a little more since things appeared as you advanced which made it easier to not miss something. I also really enjoyed the poems. Ghost did not join me in this ritual, she left me all alone.

This one was a little bit more fun for me than The Summoning. It had a cohesive narrative that tied it together, and having to explore the room to find interactive items as they appeared made it feel a little more like I was actually doing something. However it does reuse the exact same jumpscares as The Summoning and the story is sort of goofy and confusing. It didn't seem to fit with what little story there was in the previous game. I'm putting a thumbs up for improvement, but this is a neutral thumb from me.

Me and a friend of mine played the game. We used the bathroom (because it had no windows but a mirror) and followed the instructions until the very end. I have to admit, it was pretty scary! Nonetheless, it was fun too! (I might have a great friend). The problem is: I have a roommate that is currently on a vacation... How am I supposed to tell them that we now share our apartment with a 4-headed dead family? Pls help, they won't pay rent... >.<

Pretty much just a sequel to The Summoning. While the writing is decent, it's really nothing more than a creepypasta e-mail chain letter. I'd skip it unless you're morbidly curious.

Writing is not bad but gameplay is very limited. And it's very short. Also am too old for this kind of "Let's pretend ghosts exist and try to summon them through mirrors".

It is one of those games that made me wish there were more options than "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Down". It is a ritual creepypasta ("ritualpasta") that was popular some years ago in game form. If you like this idea, maybe this game will be fun for one hour or something.

I think I enjoyed The Summoning better just because it was the first one, but I think The Twins really added a lot more depth. It was good to get more of the story in a way, rather than just the experience the first game offered. I don't think these games have to be played in order though. I also played The Summoning with a friend but I played The Twins on my own so maybe it would have been more fun with company. I don't really believe in supernatural stuff though so I think watching my friend who does added a lot of fun to it. I've seen first hand just how scared someone can get if they do all of the rituals rather than just skim over them. I think if you don't play the game the way it's meant to be played, then you're gonna have a bad time. If you follow the instructions, your chances of having a good time increase significantly, again, if you're into this sort of stuff.

It's very similar to The Summoning and shares a lot of the same references in the story. It's more Lore Based and opens up on the history of The Summoning, and the poems are a nice bonus feature that adds a level of creepiness to the atmosphere. While it felt very similar, it simultaneously felt very different in its own, positive way. I enjoyed both of these experiences even though The Summoning scared the daylights out of me at first.

Ok. Nope. I do like some of the other games from this company. They are silly and fun and could be taken either playfully or not. However, this one and the summoning are chain-mail-esq. A quality that I do not like considering it can be harmful to those with mental health issues. I feel bad giving this a thumbs down but if you struggle with reality and also like dark games this isn't the one for you. I know it's obviously cheesy but it can be difficult if you have something like ocd for example.

says this isn't a game that isn't untrue. you click for 20 minutes and read a creepy story thats it. Then it turns out to be a very bad chain letter really forcing you to pawn this off on someone else or youll be cursed with ghosts your whole life. I wish the game itself was scary emotionally it was a little scary wonderinng if I actually was cursed with ghosts forever, save your money.
